Japan Travel Fair 2019 – “Your Compass to New Encounters”

Singapore, 19 September 2019 – The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) proudly presents

the Japan Travel Fair (JTF) 2019 at Plaza Singapura. Focusing on the upcoming winter season travel in

Japan, this year’s theme – Your Compass to New Encounters – opens up to a whole new adventure

encompassing original insights, experiences, and activities. A total of 28 exhibitors, 15 from Japan and

13 from Singapore, each with their own unique thoughts of what Japan has to offer.

JTF 2019 will be held at level 1, main atrium in Plaza Singapura between 27 and 29 September (Friday

to Saturday) from 10:00 to 22:00. All exhibitors have their own affordable travel deals, and you can also

get valuable information about winter Japan travel with ease at no cost. There will also be loads of

giveaways awaiting those who purchase any Japan travel-related product, tour package, and air ticket

from any of our exhibitors. There are also gifts for visitors who complete our stamp rally and survey,

and free tickets for Japanese games and yukata experience.

For any purchase of Japan travel-related products, tour packages, and air tickets, visitors will get an

exclusive JNTO tote bag, and any air ticket purchased from our airline sponsors can get additional

freebies depending on the airline. Moreover, all visitors can get JNTO’s exclusive card holder if they

each complete a simple survey. The redemption of the giveaways is the Visit Japan (VJ) booth right at

the main entrance of the event.

【概要】

・各日本側出展者ブースをめぐるスタンプラリー

日本政府観光局(JNTO)は、9月27日(金)より29日(日)の3日間、シンガポールにおいて冬の訪日旅行

のPRを目的とした、一般消費者向けプロモーションイベントJapan Travel Fair 2019を開催します。

参道、祭りなどの日本らしい文化をテーマとした会場に、日本からは15社、現地旅行会社から13社の合計

28社が出展いたします。

また、消費者からの訪日旅行に関する質問に答える「コンシェルジュデスク」の設置をはじめ、会場を盛り上げ

るステージパフォーマンスや会場内を回るスタンプラリー等のイベント、訪日旅行商品購入者に対してのギブアウ

ェイ配布なども実施します。

シンガポール市場において最も訪日旅行客が増える12月を目前に控え、訪日旅行のPR及び即売を行い

ます。

日本政府観光局（JNTO：Japan National Tourism Organization、正式名称：独立行政法人国際観光

振興機構）は、東京オリンピックが開催された1964 年、我が国の政府観光局として産声をあげ、50年間

にわたって訪日外国人旅行者の誘致に取り組んできた日本の公的な専門機関です。JNTO は、世界の主要

都市に海外事務所を持ち、日本へのインバウンド・ツーリズム（外国人の訪日旅行）のプロモーションや

マーケティングを行っています。

シンガポール事務所は、平成18年5月に開所しました。シンガポールをはじめ、近隣国でのプロモーシ
