Before You Ice

First up, Ice Queen is not waterproof, so stay far awayfrom the bath or shower when using the product.

Once you’re in a safe location, make sure your hair is nolonger than 2mm. If your hair is longer, you may burn thehairs, which will cause skin redness and swelling (and notthe most pleasant smell!) A quick shave with the razorprovided will have you ready to go in no time.

Clean your skin, so it is free of any products, such asmoisturisers or gels. Ice Queen won’t work properlyotherwise.

Put on the sunglasses provided, or your own eye cover, asthe flashing lights can affect your vision.

Do a patch test on a small area of skin at Intensity Level 1and then leave for 24 hours. If you have no negativereaction, you can trial using higher Intensity Levels acrossyour full body.

We know how excited you are to start using your Ice Queen,but before you begin, you have to prepare properly. This willensure you get the best experience!

Instructions

Plug in the power cord and press the Power button fortwo seconds. This will turn the product on.

Press the power button quickly to change intensity. Foryour first session, use Intensity Level 1, so your skin canadjust to the product.

Press Ice Queen onto your skin at a 90 degree angle. Thiswill ensure your skin is completely in contact with theproduct.

Gently press the Flash button on the centre of Ice Queen.You will see a flash and feel a slight crack. Your skin mayalso tingle with an electric current, which may feel like aflick of an elastic band. This is completely normal. Yourskin is just adjusting to the product.

If the temperature is too hot on your skin, turn theIntensity Level down.

Now that your skin is prepped, you can start using your newIce Queen!

Keep Ice Queen as close as possible to the skin toproperly flash the areas where you wish to remove hair.

Wait for the white light on the lamp to re-illuminate afteryou have pressed the Flash button and then press againon the next area.

If you are using Ice Queen on a large area, use theContinuous Flash Mode by holding down the Flash buttonfor two seconds.

To cool down the skin, press the Ice button on the side ofthe product. Press it again to turn off the Ice function.

When you’re finished, hold the Power button down fortwo seconds to turn off the product. Don’t forget to cleanyour product after use so it is ready for your next hairremoval!

Don't forget that you should not use Ice Queen on sensitiveareas.

After Use CareOnce you have used Ice Queen, it is recommended to avoidwater on the area for at least six hours.

After six hours, moisturise the area. Try to avoid perfumes oractive ingredients on the area, as this may irritate the skin.

Avoid sunburn or artificial tanning in the first 48 hours afterusing Ice Queen. Wear SPF50 sunscreen if it is not possible toavoid direct sunlight.

Tips

Hold Ice Queen on the skin and hold down the Flashbutton for two seconds.

The flashes will now continue automatically at setintervals.

Make sure you continuously move the Ice Queen up anddown the skin in this mode, sliding back and forth overthe key areas. This will ensure that no area is missed.

The flashes will occur at different rates based on theIntensity Level you have selected. The flash speed isfastest at Intensity Level 1 and slowest at Intensity Level 5.

How to use on large areas

Looking to use Ice Queen on large areas, such as your legs orarms?

You will want to use the Continuous Flash Mode.

Put Ice Queen on the area where you want to remove thehair.

Press the Flash button.

Move the product to the next area and wait until thewhite light of the lamp is illuminated. Then, press theFlash button again.

Repeat for any other small areas.

How to use on small areas

Looking to use Ice Queen on smaller areas, such as fingersand toes?

You will want to use the Single Flash Mode.

Product Care

Turn Ice Queen off and unplug it. If you have just used it,give it time to cool down fully.

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe and clean the mirror surfaceof the light outlet.

You can use a few drops of highly concentrated alcohol(no more than 96%) to clean the rest of the product.

Store the product in a dry, dust-free area at roomtemperature.

Don’t clean the product under a tap or in a dishwasher.

Don’t use cleaning utensils such as steel wool, flammableliquids (such as acetone or gasoline) or abrasive cleaners(such as toothpaste) to clean Ice Queen.

To get the best results and extend the life of Ice Queen, makesure to clean it before and after use, every time.

WarrantyThe Beauty Buddy Ice Queen is warranted to be free of manufacturer’sdefects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date ofpurchase. Damage or wear resulting from an accident, misuse, abuse,commercial use or unauthorised adjustment and/or repair are notcovered under this warranty.

Should this product require warranty service (or replacement at ourdiscretion), please contact customer service. Proof of purchase isrequired. Products returned without prior authorisation from BeautyBuddy will not be accepted and the sender will not receive a refund orreplacement.

This warranty stipulates uninterrupted 12 month use of the item fromthe date of purchase. In the event that the item is faulty within the 12month warranty period, the customer has the right to return the item toBeauty Buddy for a resolution in the form of a refund if less than 6months from purchase or an account credit if after, replacement orfixing the faulty item at the discretion of Beauty Buddy. Please note thatthe replacement item will not be subject to a new 12 month warrantyperiod, it will just provide cover for the remaining months left in thewarranty of the original item.

There are no express warranties except as listed above. This warrantygives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which varyfrom state to state.
