It is a Paperless, Cashless, Smart Card based scheme, and all pre-existing diseases are c o v e r e d . T h e e n t i r e premium is borne by the State Government and no contribution is required from the beneficiary. For further a s s i s t a n c e , d o w n l o a d Swasthya Sathi mobile app. Total beneficiaries in Kalimpong is 43530,while total applications received during first 2 phases of Duare Sarkar is 21196. We a r e m o v i n g t o w a r d s universal health coverage.

AIKYASHREE It is a scholarship scheme for meritorious students belonging to Minority Communities (Mus l im, Chr i s t ians , Buddhist, Jain, S ikh, Parsi) of West Bengal. T h e G o v e r n m e n t provides scholarships to minority students from Class I up to PhD every year. K a l i m p o n g h a s granted Rs 4.45 crore of scholarship to 20920 minority students.

The Annual Scholarship of Rs 1000 is for unmarried girls aged 13-18 years enrolled in classes VIII -XII in government and private schools The One -T ime Grant is for gir ls turning 18 at the time of application. T o t a l n u m b e r o f beneficiaries in Kalimpong is 8801.

MGNREGS It aims to enhance livelihood security in rural areas by providing at least 100 days of wage employment in a financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. Total number of job cards in Kalimpong is 61075, Total Man Days generated in 2020-21 has already crossed 3557795.
