HACKING EDUCATION WITH DIGITAL PEDAGOGIES
EduHack.eu is a capacity-building (CPD) programme for university educators who wish to develop skills and knowledge that enable the creation of digitally-supported learning experiences.
OPEN + COLLABORATIVE + ACTIVE
> Using and producing open learning experiences and educational resources.
> Learning with peers in a community of practice.
> Learning by doing.
ONLINE COURSE
o 4 areas
o 20 activities (at least two per each area)
o 1 hour per activity approx.
o 3 tasks within each activity: Read > Watch > Do

o Key output:- open portfolio (e.g. web, blog)- peer-feedback
o Modes of engagement: self-directed and/or as part of a cohort.

Hackathon: an intensive, focused and participatory event aimed at coding a piece of software addressing some particular issue or challenge.
[Edu]Hackathon: an intensive, focused and participatory event aimed at devising approaches and/or resources that address some key educational issues or challenges.

EDUHACK CHAMPIONSEnthusiastic educators, keen on exploring innovative approaches to teaching-learning and interested in making the most of new possibilities enabled by digital technologies, who can:
o Be the main contact point at schools or units.
o Help test / validate / improve the development opportunities offered by the project.
o Advice on ways of adapting the project to GUG / UK context.
o Inform decision-making about the implementation of the project at CUG:
- dates
- format and duration of the hackathon
- selection / recruitment of participants
- topics
