Spec section 07 42 63 Fabricated Wall Panel Assemblies- Section 1.3 Description of Fabricated Wall Panel Assembly System states the panel to be concealed fastening, panel profile must be embossed standing seam as shown on drawings. Section 2.1.1 d.1 &2-states the profile to be 1 ½" high standing seam, 18" coverage, with mechanical crimping or snap-together seams with concealed clips and fasteners. Smooth, flat surface texture. Section 2.1.2 Foam-Insulation Core Wall Panel- states provide factory-formed steel wall panel assembly fabricated from to two sheets of metal with modified polyisocyanurate or polyurethane foam insulation core. Spec Section 13 34 19 Metal Building Systems- Section 1.4.8 Exterior Wall System states provide manufactures standard factory-assembled, insulated metal wall panels complete with vapor barrier conforming to ASTM E96/E96M. Question: Can we use the standard manufactures 36"-42" wide foam core insulated metal wall panels for the PEMB's? We can meet the R-Value, 24-gauge thickness and Kynar painted finish requirements. The 1 ½" high seam and 18" coverage is not a standard panel.

There is also a reference requiring roofing panels be used as vertical wall panels. Our contacts at PEMB manufacturers have indicated that this spec is confusing and contradictory and may escalate the wall panel system by a factor or 4 to 5 times over panels manufactured by the building manufacturer. Please clarify what wall panels and alternates are acceptable.

Provide wall and roof panels as specified and as modified above. The intent of the specifications is

that the walls are to be 18" insulated metal panels and the

roof panels are to be 18" standing seam engineered metal

Specification Section 01 30 01.00 22 para 1.4 refers to Contractor's design requirements for FF&E and A/V. Para 2.1 refers to Government Funding for procuement and installation only. The Bid Schedule descriptions of the respective Planned Modifications make reference to procurement and installation, but neither para 2.1 nor the the Bid Schedule mentions design. Is it the Government's intent that the Contractor should carry the cost of design for FF&E and A/V in the Base Bid, or is design cost included in the Government's estimated costs for procurement and installation of each respective Planned Modification?

Interior designer cost shall be included in base bid.

Would the government please provide guidance on the dollar value to use on item 1 (Total Contract Value including options) of the SB Subcontracting Plan, Attachment G, and Item 3 of Attachment E. Should the total value be the entire $975 million value for all contract awards or one-fifth of the total $975 M ($195M), since 5 awards are anticipated.

Attachment G is specific to the seed project, P1394. The dollar

value used on Attachment G, Item 1, should the the total

proposed amount for the seed project, P1394.

The last page of each form provides columns for the base year and 2 option periods; however, the contract includes four 1-year options. Please confirm if we are to add additional columns to the forms for option years 3 and 4 or if not, please provide guidance on how we are to fill out this part of the form since there are four option periods but only 2 listed on the form.

Please cofirm if these are referring to the same 2 pages or if we can provide the 2 pages in response to FActor 4 and an additional 2 pages as an Introduction/Executive Summary to the Attachment E Small Business Participation and Commitment Strategy.

What areas for each site will contractor laydown, parking and office trailers be permitted? There is not enough area with the LODs of these building sites to allow for these necessary areas.
