actions.
PRE-WRITING SKILLS
Little fingers happily made standing, sleeping, slanting and sliding lines on glass board & also on the wooden
patterns pre writing tablet.
STORY/CRAFT
TIME
Little stars enjoyed the story The Fox and the Grapes
virtually.
PRE-MATHS Little hands were introduced with the concept of Long and short & More and less through objects and practised the
same in their textbook.
ALPHA/PHONICS Little stars revised the letters A, B & C.
GK Little stars were introduced with the topic of I can Move.
OBSERVE &
DISCUSS
Curious lil eyes and ears, did a hands-on activity, an
experiment on senses and thus enhanced their knowledge on the topic “Senses”.
THEME OF THE
MONTH - WATER
Kids viewed and enjoyed the theme Water related pictures
through classroom windows.
LOWER KINDERGARTEN
LITERACY Kids were introduced to Letter H through pictures and they
practised the same in their textbooks. They also practised Letter G and H in their notebooks.
HINDI Little kids revised swar ए through pictures and did writing
practice in their Hindi notebook. They were introduced
with swar ऐ through PPT and did writing practice in their
textbook.
RHYMES Kids were introduced to a new rhyme ‘After a Bath’ through video and activity.
NUMERACY Kids revised numbers 1 to 9 through counting, colouring
and wrote numbers and did numbers and concepts through practice worksheet.
GK Kids solved the practice worksheet, and thus revised the concepts done.
PHONICS Kids revised the phonic sound of alphabets done till now and
also revised the sight words ‘as, am and an’. They were introduced to new sight words ‘of, no and on’.
THEME OF THE Kids enjoyed watching water related mobile hangers in
MONTH - WATER the classroom.
UPPER KINDERGARTEN
RHYMES & ORALS Children revised all the rhymes. They also did recap for
their 1st oral observation of all the subjects.
LITERACY Toddlers practised writing rhyming words & cursive Dd in
their textbooks. They practised writing CVC words and circled the rhyming words in the worksheets.
HINDI Kids practised writing swar and vyanjan in their
worksheets.
NUMERACY Young learners practised writing ordinal numbers in their
notebooks. They revised numbers, number names and shapes through worksheets given to them.
GENERAL
AWARENESS
Kids revised body parts and their senses as well as
healthy/unhealthy food through worksheets.
THEME OF THE
MONTH - WATER
Little Sea Riders had fun doing coloured ice cube painting
in the worksheets given to them. Also they enjoyed being sea riders by wearing different
costumes, acting like their character, sailing into the sea (through AR and prop made in school) and watching a
movie.

Primary Section
Academic session 2022-’23 has started in offline mode and students of Grade 3
to 10 were taught the subjects English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science
and 3rd Language (Gujarati/Sanskrit). Classes of Life-skills, Gurukulam, Music,
Dance, Yoga, Art and Craft were also conducted for the students.
Grade 11 students had the teaching periods of the subjects; Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Mathematics, Business Studies, Commerce, Accountancy, English and

Grade 1
SUBJECTS STUDENTS LEARNED
Lil Masters happily and confidently appeared for their Unit Test 1 Oral observation and
they had revision sessions for the upcoming Unit Test 1 Written Observation.
Gurukulam
Gurukulam was conducted by the students wherein they learned prayers, breathing exercises, concentration technique, healing technique, and cosmic chants. The session gave all a chance to close their eyes and introspect, attain a few moments of calm and time with “Self”.
Dance Students learnt to dance to the song Chak dhoom dhoom. .
Art & Craft Students learnt to make Simple fish with the help of craft paper and also learnt to draw and colour Joker cap and House in their Art & Craft book.
Computer Practice Worksheet 02 and revision of Chapter 1 done by the students. Students solved the textual exercise of Chapter 2.
Music Students learned ek do ek do badhte Kadam and hum chhote
chhote bachche hai patriotic songs.
Life Skills The importance and love for Trees was explained in the class by showing a video The real story of Amrita.
Physical Education Students played with rings and mental development games.
Library time Students enjoy free reading time with the book Read with me II and watched the story of fire fish on TV.
Grade 2

Music Students learned We are Indians and Bharat mera pyara desh
patriotic songs.
Library time Students enjoyed story telling time with the book Alice in wonderland.
Grade 3
English Students were introduced with a new topic 38: Making Friends. Textual exercise of the same was completed. Students enhance their grammar skills on the topic Nouns: Belonging. Textual exercise and Extra questions were completed as well.
English Cafe Students learn about the emotions Know Your Emotions and how their emotions affect their daily life.
Science Students learned about various birds, their feet and claws. They also learned about birds' nests and its importance.
Mathematics Students learnt Subtraction of Numbers and solved the sums related to this. They were also able to frame word problems related to subtraction.
Music Students learned Hum rahi hain Hum saathi Hai patriotic song and flag song.

Computer Students learned the concept of an operating system with its uses, features and advantages.
Dance Students revised and danced to the song Jugnu
Art & Craft Students drew & coloured a landscape with shapes in drawing book. Making flower with flower-pot, picture composition page 25 and calligraphic lines-joined dots and coloured-Sun, Parrot and temple-page 24 were also completed.
Library time Students were explained about the festivals of Baisakhi and Buddha Purnima.
Grade 4
English
Students were introduced with a new topic: Broken Pot. Q/A of the same was completed in the class. Students enhance their grammar skills on the topic Nouns: Possession. Textual exercise and Extra questions were completed as well.
English Cafe Students learn about the emotions Know Your Emotions and how their emotions affect their daily life.
Mathematics
Students learnt Multiplication of Numbers. They were also introduced to the lattice method and column method of
multiplication and were able to solve word problems related to the same.
Science Students learned about Balanced diet, Food preservation and importance of posture, rest and exercise in daily life.
Social Studies Students learnt about The Western Ghats. They get information about the State Rajasthan as well as The Thar desert in Rajasthan. Question Answers related to the same were also discussed in the classroom.

Gujarati વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ “સ્વર-ઉ” ની માત્રા િાળા શબ્દોની સમજ મેળિી અન ે લેખન કર્યું.
આઈસ્ક્રીમની ચમચીર્થી છોકરી બનાિિાની પ્રિૃવિ કરી. અને “ઢી ીંગલીની સાડી” િાર્ાાનયું
િાુંચન અન ેપ્રશ્નોની ચચાા કરી લેખન કર્યું.
Computer Students were demonstrated and explained the Animation Pane and Timing group for adding animation.
Dance Students learnt to dance to the song Bhul Bhulayia 2
Art & Craft
Students completed two different designs by joining dots and colouring them in the drawing book, Warli art drawing on separate sheets was done.
Library time
Explain about the festivals like Ramnavmi, mahavir jayanti, and Navroz.
Music Students learned Hum rahi hain Hum saathi Hai patriotic song and flag song.
Grade 5
English
Students were introduced with a new topic: Solomon and the Two Mothers. Q/A of the same was completed in the class.
English Cafe Students learn about the emotions Know Your Emotions and how their emotions affect their daily life.
Mathematics
Continuing the chapter Fractions, wherein studnets came to know about the comparison of fractions and addition of fractions. They did the textbook exercise of the same.
Science
Continuing the chapter Food and Health. Students learnt about communicable and non-communicable diseases, Balance Diet and Deficiency Diseases in the Human body. Question Answers related to the same were discussed in the classroom.
Social Studies
Students were explained about the conservation of the environment. Retest of Chapter:2 and 5 was conducted during the class. Students were given the activity of making paper bags and drawing a poster on ban of single used plastic.

Students have done object drawing in the drawing book and explanation of perspective to improve their observation capacity. They also drew a Madhubani art (a fish mom & child) in their sketch book.

Library time Students enjoyed playing the G.K Quiz in the library.
Grade 6
English Students were introduced with a new topic The Priest and his Clever Wife. Q/A of the same was completed in the class. Students enhance their grammar skills on the topic Nouns: Gender. Textual exercise and Extra questions were completed as well.
Mathematics
Continuing the chapter Playing with Number, students came to know about the continued division method. They did the textual exercise of the same.
Social Science The chapter, Globe: Longitude and latitude was completed along with discussion of questions and answers.

Library time Students enjoyed free reading in library class. Library book were issued for the students.

English
Transitive -Intransitive Verbs in grammar were explained, exercises were done and notes related to the topic were given.
Mathematics
The chapter Exponents and Powers was completed with the discussion of the textbook exercise. Also given extra questions apart from the textbook.
Science Continuing with chapter Chemicals and chemical changes in which topics; chemical formula, valency, writing a chemical formula, writing a balanced chemical equation were done .
Hindi लवद्यालथययरों ने पाठ 4- 'अोंतरोंि पत्ाचार' के प्रश्नरोंत्तररों पर चचाय की।
Social Science Test of ongoing chapter Inside our Earth was done. New chapter in civics Role of Government in Health was started

Gujarati વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ “એવરસે્ટ સાથે મારી મ લાકાત” પ્રશ્નોની ચચાા કરી ર્ેનયું લેખન કર્યું અને
“મનગમતી દદવાળી” કવિર્ાનયું ગાન કરી , ર્હેિારોની ચચાા કરી , પશ્નોની ચચાા કરી ર્ેનયું
લેખન કર્યું.

Art & Craft Students drew Japanese Masks and decorated them. They started a project to make Bird feeder and drew an abstract design and coloured it in the drawing book and completed creative drawing. Activity- making flowers with tissue papers.
Library time Students enjoyed free reading in library class. Books given from
the library.
Grade 8
English
Thieves at Work chapter was completed and question-answers were completed. Determiners were introduced. The types were explained and exercises related to the topic were completed.
Mathematics Completed chapter Understanding Quadrilateral and new chapter Playing with number was started. Also discussed practical problems related to two digit and three-digit numbers.
Science- Chemistry Continuing with chapter Combustion and fossil fuels in which topics ; flame and structure of a candle flame were completed .
Sci-Biology Students were introduced to a new chapter Cell: Structure and Function”, wherein they came to know about the cell-variation in number, shape and size, structure of plant cell and animal cell, prokaryotic cell and eukaryotic cell and cell division and growth.
Social Science-Geo A new chapter, From Trade to Territory was started in the class. The students came to know about the charter signed by the queen Elizabeth I which allowed the European EIC to come to India for trade. They came to know about the incidences that created conflict between the Indian Nawaabs and the traders of EIC.
Social Science-Civics Students prepared notes of the ongoing chapter Why do we need Parliament? Wherein they came to know about the Role of the parliament and who are the people in parliament.
Hindi लवद्यालथययरों ने पाठ 4- 'राष्ट्र पलत की लचोंताएाँ ' पत् के प्रश्नरोंत्तररों पर चचाय की।

Grade 9
English Poem: Rain on the Roof was read and explained. Question-answers were completed and extra questions were given.
Mathematics
New chapter Triangle was started. Congruence, correspondence, and criteria for congruence topics were discussed. Students have appeared for a class test of Lines and Angles.
Science- Physics The Concept of Momentum and Newton’s second law of motion was explained to the students with examples and numerical related to the
topics were solved from the chapter, Forces and Laws of Motion
Science- Chemistry Separating the components of mixture and discussion of textual
exercises were done from the chapter Is matter around us pure ?
Science- Biology Types of Epithelial tissue and Muscular tissue were explained from
the chapter Tissues
Hindi लवद्यालथययरों ने "सोंचयन" पाठ्य पुस्तक के पाठ- 1 'लिलू्ल' नामक कहानी कर पढा एवों समझा।
Social Science-
Geography
In the chapter, Physical Features of India the students came to know about the divisions of the Himalayan mountains, the Northern plains and the the Peninsular Plateau.
Social Science- Economics
In the ongoing chapter ‘People as resource’ students were introduced with the quality of population in Education, health and unemployment.
Grade 10
English Chapter: From the Diary of Anne Frank was read and explained. Question-answers were completed.
Mathematics The textual exercise from the chapter, Probability was solved. The chapter Pair of linear equations in one variable completed and students appeared for a class test.
Science- Physics
Dispersion of white light through a prism, spectrum and re -
combination of white light were discussed from the chapter, Human Eye and the Colourful World’
Science- Chemistry
Chemicals from common salts along with textual exercise were
explained in the classroom from the chapter “
Acids, Bases and Salts”.
Science- Biology
Types of plant movement, Plant hormones and functions were
explained giving suitable examples.
Science- Lab work Students prepared a temporary of leaf peel and observe the Stomata
under the microscope
Social Science-History
In the chapter, Nationalism in India students understood about the ways in which Non-Cooperation movement unfolded in towns, countryside and plantation fields.
Social Science -
Economics
In the ongoing chapter ‘Sectors of the Indian Economy’ students were introduced with the Where are most of the people employed, how to create more employment? wherein they came to know about NITI aayog and MGNREGA 2005.
Hindi लवद्यालथययरों ने ''सोंचयन" पाठ्य पुस्तक के पाठ 2- 'सपनरों के- से लदन’ के ' प्रश्नरोंत्तररों पर चचाय
की।
Computer The chapter Performing Operations on Tables was discussed in class wherein students came to know about inserting data into tables, sorting data and referential integrity.
Grade 11- Science
Physics Dimensional analysis and its application and deducing the relations
among the physical quantities were discussed from the chapter, Units and Measurements.
A new chapter, Motion in a straight line was introduced to the class wherein the students understood about the terms like rest,
motion and its types, distance, displacement, speed, velocity, average velocity and instantaneous velocity.
Chemistry Completed the chapter Some basic concepts of Chemistry
with textual exercises. Introduced with New chapter Structure of
atom in which topics discovery of electron, proton and neutron along with JJ Thomson’s model of atom were discussed in class.
Mathematics Completed Relation and Functions with all textual exercises.
New chapter Permutation and combination was started
Biology
Completed the chapter The biological classification; the
structure and properties of Virus, Viroid, Prions etc were discussed giving suitable examples. Students were introduced to
a new chapter Cell- The Unit of Life
English Chapter: We’re not Afraid to Die was read, explained and the
question answers are in continuation to be completed.
Grade 11- Commerce
Business Studies Students were taught about reindustrialization; post-independence.
Economics Recapitulation of the ongoing chapter Introduction to Economics
was done. Wherein they understood the meaning of Economics & statistics, importance, scope and functions of Statistics.
English Chapter: We’re not Afraid to Die was read, explained and the
question answers are in continuation to be completed.

MANAGEMENT & PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE IN CHILDREN 22nd JULY 2022
AISV had arranged a workshop for the students of grade 6 to 10 on the topic
Awareness & Capacity building for Anger management & prevention of Violence in children. The session was conducted by AACCI, a project for Awareness
& capacity building for Anger management & prevention of violence in children and youth. A team of five doctors; Dr Bakulesh Chauhan, Dr Samir Shah, Dr Satish
Pandya, Dr Ashutosh Singh Rathore & Dr Bhupendra Kapadia arranged face to face interactive sessions and role-play activities to aware the children about the anger
management and various techniques to tackle it.
