How to Make an Adventure D201. Print each of the pattern sheets on cardstock paper. If you make both d20s, print the inner hemispheres

template twice. Choose light colored or parchment cardstock.

2. Cut all dotted lines. Crease all solid lines using a dry ballpoint pen. All folds are mountain folds.

3. Start with the “Inner Hemispheres” sheet to make a core d20 shape.

○ Glue matching letters together in alphabetical order with shaded panels hidden between layers. Do

one panel at a time: align edges, pinch firmly, and let the glue set.

○ Before gluing F on the second hemisphere, overlap the hemispheres to make a complete die core. The

entire equatorial region will have two layers of paper. Finally, glue down the F tab and panel. The

resulting die core will have a seam all around the bottom of the top hemisphere.

4. Wrap the adventure die design as a cover around the d20 core. The adventure die design is already scaled

slightly larger to account for the thickness of cardstock.

○ Apply glue to the entire inside equatorial area of the cover, then wrap it around the inner die core and

align the edges of the A tab and panel.

○ Glue down the remaining panels that have tabs, and then the panels that don’t have tabs.

5. Make a paper d6 by following similar steps:

○ The core is made up of two parts, each of which you can reach inside to press when setting the glue.

Then, slide one inside the other to form a closed, solid d6 core.

○ Wrap the core by applying glue to the entire back of panels 1, 3, 4, and their tabs, then 2 and its tabs.

Once that glue is set, glue down panels 5and 6, which do not have tabs.

To roll a paper die: spin it in the air so that it is random before it touches the table.
