28 February 2019 Dear Sandeep, Gagan and Horacio,

1. There are some important, but distressing facts which have come to light about Mother’scondition, in the last few years of Her life, which reveal that some family members, with the helpof some Yogis completely negated Mother’s wishes.

2. I will start with Her Guru Puja speech of 2008. I was in Italy with Her that day listening to Herspeech, because She was speaking like this after a very long time.

3. Extracts from Her speech are the following:

3-a. I cannot travel from places to places.

3-b. You have to do now My Work. I won’t be able to go all over.

3-c. I have done my level best now, but I don’t think now I can travel anymore.

3-d. … now you take over and become gurus.

3-e. So now I am no more available, in the sense, I have done my best, and I think Iwon’t be able to do this again.

3-f. Now I have been working from the year 1970, and today, so many years I haveworked so hard. But I can’t now do it. I have to go back and take some rest, as everybody has said, and you will also agree.

3-g. And that is how Sahaja Yoga would spread, no doubt. It is – it cannot remain atthis stage because I am withdrawing.

3-h. But I think now I can’t travel and I am going back. I won’t be able to come backagain, not possible.

3-i. You have to save the world, all my work is that, and I would ask you to write tome in India if there is any difficulty.

3-j. But I think you will understand that I must retire now. I can’t travel.

The only two countries She said She may be able to visit were Canada and Russia.

4. I AM SURE ALL SAHAJA YOGIS AND ALL FAMILY MEMBERS MUST HAVE UNDERSTOODTHAT SHE WANTED TO GO BACK TO INDIA, SHE WANTED TO REST, AND ALSO TORETIRE, AND WITHDRAW COMPLETELY. I spoke to Sir after the Puja and said that Mummyhad expressed quite clearly that She wanted to rest and go back to India. He agreed with me thatnow both of them needed to rest and relax at home in Pune. I was very happy that Her wisheswould be fulfilled. I also mentioned to him that I did not like the fact that sometimes She used tobe woken up from Her sleep and pushed to be taken to these pujas. Also it was important to tellhim that Her money was being squandered on expensive items like a Maserati car. Not only wasit very expensive, but the maintenance, insurance and upkeep would be a very high expense. This car was of no use to Mummy since it would be difficult for Mummy to get in and out, nor wasit even comfortable for Her to sit in.

5. I went back happily to Dubai where my husband was working, but very soon my hopes wereshattered when Krishna Puja was announced. I telephoned Sir and said I couldn’t understandwhy he was going against Her Wishes. He said that some senior Sahaja Yogis were very angrythat he had stopped the pujas. I asked Sir the names of the yogis, but as usual he evaded my

question and firmly said that the pujas would continue. Since 2007, I had been noticing that only CERTAIN YOGIS FROM AUSTRALIA, CERTAIN OTHERS FROM ITALY, AND CERTAIN TRUSTEES OF THE NDSY TRUST, were allowed to be in close proximity of Mother, Sir and Mrs. Varma.

6. I really could not fathom the reason for these incessant pujas and in my last letter have mentioned that 73 Pujas were held in 29 Months (July 2008 to Dec 2010).

7. Early 2009: As I have already mentioned in a previous letter, a sum of 26 lakh rupees was found missing from the Puja collections in Delhi. Coincidentally, my husband and I were in Pratishthan Pune, when Parag was speaking to Mr G L Aggarwal in Delhi. Both of them had decided that they would not sign such accounts. Since I was a member of the NDSY trust which had conducted the Puja, my husband felt that I should go to Delhi and correct the situation, or else resign from the trust giving this as the reason, since all trustees of a charitable trust can be held responsible for any fraud, and there can be stringent punishment for the same. I flew to Delhi immediately with Parag. I apprised Sir of the situation, and he seemed surprised. He promised to find out what had happened and to rectify the situation immediately. The whole day went by, and Parag came to me in the late afternoon, saying nothing had been done. I went back to Sir, saying that something would have to be done immediately, or else I would resign giving the correct reason for my resignation. I also requested Mr. Suresh Kapoor (a trustee) to look into this. Mr. Ashok Aggarwal, the treasurer was called by Sir to find out where the money had gone. Mr Aggarwal said that the money had been given to Mrs. Varma to pay for the wedding arrangements of Anand Varma, which was being held shortly. Mr. Ashok Aggarwal stated that Sir was fully aware of this. I was truly shocked. There were many witnesses including Parag and Suresh Kapoor who heard this. Sir called Mrs Varma in front of everyone, and said that she should return the money to the trust immediately.

8. The next morning, the money was returned, but Sir seemed very angry with me. I was surprised, because going by the reputation Sir enjoyed - of being scrupulously honest, I had thought that he would have been happy that I had saved the family from disgrace.

9. After this Sir stopped communicating with me regularly. I did love him and Mummy very much, but could not have acted differently.

10. I still visited Italy regularly, but Mummy was very quiet. She spoke once in a while, but very little. I used to be upset seeing Her sitting in a tiny room, and tried to persuade Sir to allow Her to live in the large and comfortable House in Pune which She wanted to live in during Her last years. The excuse given by Sir was that the Medical aid in the Genoa Hospital was the best. I then reasoned with him that if this was the only reason, then it was a well known fact that the US has the best medical aid in the world, and moving there was best, but since She wanted to live in Pune, and the treatment in the hospital in Pune where She had been admitted was excellent, it would be best to make Her happy. But, as usual whatever I said was dismissed.

11. It is unfortunate that after She became quiet, Sir tried to control Sahaja, by first forming a trust (NDSY trust or the so called National trust), later by dismissing the members of the World Council, and trying to control all Sahaja Institutions. Those who opposed this, were not even allowed to visit Mother. Even I was kept at bay after 2009. All I requested Sir was that as a family we should not interfere in Sahaja Yoga matters, and requested him to pursue his hobbies of playing bridge, watching tennis and cricket matches, and attending classical music concerts which could be easily done in India.

Page 3

12. 2010: I could not visit Mother since my husband had a cardiac arrest in January. Miraculously he was saved but he needed by-pass surgery which was done in India. For the next 6 months I did not want to leave him since he needed to be looked after.

13. November 2010: Sir and Shri Mataji came to Delhi. On this trip also She was again subjected to the Virata Puja, and She was unnecessarily taken to Jaipur to inaugurate a school which was not a Sahaj school.

14. Early December 2010: In Mother’s lifetime Pratishthan in Pune was handed over to the NDSY trust, clearly against the Will which Mother had made. Mother's thumb impression was taken on the document for transfer, and Parag Raje who was there that day noticed clearly that She was fast asleep when Her thumb impression was taken. Why would She want to give away the home that She had designed and constructed to spend Her last days on this earth. In fact, there is a speech in Marathi in which She says that She has selected Pune as Her Abode and She did not want Sahaja Yogis loitering about Her Home. Even if Sir wanted to do this, Sahaja Yogis should not have accepted anything against Mother’s written Will. Luckily, Mother had given me a copy of an affidavit signed by Sir in London on 5th June 1987. She told me that this affidavit was made because She wanted Sir to confirm that this house was to be used only and only for Her immediate family which were Her daughters and their families. This house was not for any public use. The affidavit is attached. (Annexure-1, Affidavit).

15. 2nd January 2010: Mother is taken for lunch to a restaurant in Genoa, (Annexure-2, Photograph). It was very chilly and cold. As can be seen from previous records, Mother would never spend winters in a cold climate. She was always back in India, but those days Her known wishes seemed to take a back bench.

16. 3rd January 2010: Mother is rushed to hospital. No one tells me, but a yogi calls me up and gives me the news. I call up Sir, and he says She has gone for a check-up. I say I’m coming immediately to Genoa, but I am told not to come because She is not allowed to meet anyone since She is in the ICU. I then question Sir that how can She have gone for a check-up in the ICU. He does not give a clear answer and only tells me to come after She is back home. The very next day Parag calls me in Dubai saying that he is very upset that all the Indian nurses have been sent back. I try to call Mrs. Varma and Sir but they do not answer my call. I call up Sanjay and ask him why they have been sent back, because after coming back home Mother would need them. He cannot give me any clear answer. Whenever I call, I am told that She is still not back from the ICU. On the 13th I book my ticket and call up to say I’m coming. Initially Sir says he will send someone to receive me. But a few hours before I leave for the airport he calls up to say that I should not come. My husband feels that now I should travel only with him because otherwise he would be worried about my wellbeing. We reach Italy on the 23rd of February itself but unfortunately She leaves Her physical body 15 minutes before we reach the hospital. Mrs. Varma is in the hospital and we go together to the house to tell Sir. He weeps a lot. We leave for India with Her on the 27th with many people accompanying.

17. There is a lot of controversy as to where She is to be buried. But Nirmal Dham is ultimately decided. Everyone is in Nirmal Dham to take a Darshan. The whole day on the 28th of February She is laid to rest. Sir is crying loudly and speaking in between. All family members and Sahaja Yogis are very upset. Many people are crying. It is a day of deep grief for all.

18. A couple of days later Mrs. Varma and Sir suddenly decide to go back to Italy because Sir says he is not feeling well.

Page 4

19. After this I try to speak with Sir when he is in Genoa to find out how he is. No one picks up the phone. Then I message Sanjay Mane, and he sends back a vague reply. I am deeply worried about Sir’s health because he had said he was not well when he left Delhi, but I just can’t contact him. I get to hear from a yogi in Italy that Sir and Mrs. Varma along with some of Mrs. Varma’s family members, Sanjay Mane and his whole family have flown off to the US. I try to contact Sir in the US but he does not call me back. In fact, he stops calling me completely.

20. Meanwhile Gregoire calls me up to say that royalty received from Mother’s books and speeches was being sent to Mother directly for the past several years, but now it would have to be divided into 3 equal parts, that is, Sir, Mrs. Varma and myself. I tell him that I would donate my part to some Sahaj institution. He replies that he is legally bound to send it in any case and that I can donate it to any institution of my choice. I then tell him that I would open a special account where he could transfer the money, and then would donate it entirely to Life Eternal Trust Mumbai. Gregoire agrees but calls me up a couple of days later to say that Sir has told him that I should not be given any money since Sir is the only legal heir. I am surprised, so I again try to contact Sir but Sir is as usual unavailable.

21. Then I decide to hire a lawyer since I realized that in the past few years only one part of the family who had no known source of income in a foreign country was living a lavish lifestyle for the past few years.

22. I then requested my husband to find me a lawyer in Italy - whom he did, and the lawyer sent out a notice to Sir that I should be made aware of my rights as per the Will of my parents. To this notice Sir’s reply was that I had no claim to anything She owned. This was not what She had written in Her Will. At that time I understood that She had given me a copy of Her Will in 2004 because She had probably known that such a situation might arise. (Annexure-3, Will of 2004).

There was another will made on 13 March 2008. This will is also quite similar in essence to the 2004 Will. But instead of Her fully legible signature, there is only Her thumb impression on this Will. Sir has signed legibly. (Annexure-4, Will of 2008).

23. All this took some months. I again tried to visit Sir but he was in the hospital. I went to the hospital but I was not allowed to enter his room.

24. A nurse came out and told me that he was having his lunch and did not want to be disturbed. When the nurse opened the door I saw Mrs. Varma sitting inside. This was all very strange but Sir’s doctor came and since he had seen me with Sir from the time that Sir had his first surgery in 2005, he took me into the room. Sir and Mrs. Varma did not speak to me, so I left.

25. After that there was no occasion to meet Sir. He passed away in July 2013. I was in Cabella at that time so I went to the hospital in Genoa where he had passed away. I naturally thought that now the Will of my parents would be put into effect. (The money in all the banks in India, Italy or anywhere else belonged only to Mummy. Sir was in a job in India and abroad and his income in India was a very small pension, and abroad he was earning 4,000 USD per month.)

26. To my surprise our lawyer found out that Sir had made a secret will on 25th May 2011 – COMPLETELY NEGATING MOTHER’S WISHES IN THE WILL THEY HAD MADE TOGETHER. Surprising because I started doubting his value system. He had taken a decision to completely dishonour his wife’s wishes. The two Sahaja Yogis who helped him do this are Sanjay Mane and Vladi. They have their signatures on this secret will (Annexure-5, Secret Will made in 2011).

Page 5

Sir’s value system was also in question because he seemed to have tried to control the money which did not belong to him. I had always held Sir in very high esteem but I was wrong.

27. I have been fighting a case in court ever since to claim what my Mother (to whom all assets in cash and kind actually belonged) had Willed to me. The case is still in the supreme court and I will respect the verdict of the court.

28. All this would not have been possible for Sir, if yogis like Sanjay Mane had not helped him in defying Mother. Worse still are those yogis who helped him to take Mother to pujas after Guru Puja 2008. They clearly did not love Mother. Had they stood by Mother, they could have easily refused to drive them to the Puja venues or to get Mother ready for the pujas. Many yogis did tell me that Mother should not be taken to pujas because She had wished not to go, and She did look very unwell. I protested always but the frequency of the Pujas kept increasing. A lot of money was being collected as Samarpan. A lot of jewellery was coming in as gifts, but it was all meant for Mother. But Mother did not need all this. Then what was the point of this incessant collection? My sixth sense told me that maybe there was someone who wanted money for themselves and was using Mother to collect it. But I had no proof. As I have mentioned earlier one part of the family was living well beyond their means. It was indeed a sin to aspire for such money when Mother had clearly announced that no more pujas were to be held.

29. Sadly the time period from July 2008 to February 2011 was only 31 months. Was it not the duty of everyone including family and yogis to let Her rest and enjoy in a venue of Her choice? The decision to continue pujas was indeed heartless and some yogis and some family members are responsible for this.

30. My lawyer had by now, through proper legal channels, got the bank statements from at least one bank in Italy – the Banco Popolare Di Milano. We could not manage to get account statements from other banks including banks in India. I know that Mother’s account in the State Bank of India in Mumbai (which had the collections of all Her Nirakaar Puja Samarpans) had a very large amount in the bank. I had called up Parag Raje to tell him that I wanted to donate money from this account to the Life Eternal Trust Mumbai (the first trust formed by Mother). He told me that the entire money had been removed from this account. Since Sir was the joint account holder it could have only been him who had removed it.

31. For a few months, I had been involved in all this litigation etc., but felt that it was time to move on so that I could enjoy my time with my husband. The legal proceedings in Italy were going on.

32. I had really never paid attention to the account statements that had been sent to me by my lawyer after Sir’s passing away. I knew of course that all the money from Her accounts had been transferred to joint accounts held either by Sir and Mrs. Varma, or Sir, Mrs. Varma and her daughter Mrs. Khattar. I knew that my lawyer was looking into everything in great detail to get justice.

33. Then I received a letter from a yogi to ask me about the medicine that Mother had been administered. He also sent me a letter sent by Sir all over the world to tell everyone how and why Mother was administered the medicine. I had never seen Sir's letter before because I had never learned how to operate emails until 2008. Sir’s letter was not factual. The yogi had made a plea that he wanted facts. I was lucky enough to find these facts which unfortunately show that Sir’s letter was totally incorrect. The doctor who treated Mother at that time has confirmed this in a mail. (Annexure-6 Sir's letter dated 1 July 2005, Annexure-7 my email dated 30 July 2018, Annexure-8 Dr. Chadha's confirmation)

Page 6

34. It was sad that way back in 2005 Sir had given false information to the yogis. This prompted me to start looking at my papers again, and also because after Dr. Chadha's confirmation, a number of yogis wanted to know why Mother was treated in this fashion.

35. One thing was very evident that money collection was important to someone and money was to be collected as quickly as possible. I knew that there was enough money in Mother’s account even in July 2008, more than enough for all Her needs, because She really didn’t have many needs.

36. Then I looked in detail at the only statement of accounts that I had received from the Banco Popolare di Milano. WHAT I READ AND COULD NOT DIGEST WAS THE FOLLOWING:

1 28/02/2011 Transfer from the account number 2903 of

Nirmala and Chandrika to Sadhana Euro 699.824,46

2 28/02/2011 Transfer from the account number 2903 of

Nirmala and Chandrika to Sadhana Euro 131.948,95

3 01/03/2011 Transfer from the account number 2903 of

Nirmala and Chandrika to Sadhana Euro 328.000,00

4 01/03/2011 Transfer from the account number 2903 of

Nirmala and Chandrika to Sadhana Euro 350.000,00

37. The date 28/02/2011 is on the day Her Sacred Body was being laid to rest in Nirmal Dham. The date 01/03/2011 is the next day. What more is left to say? This is beyond words, beyond emotions, beyond judgement. I still remember vividly, Sir was alternately weeping and inconsolable on both days. The recipient of all monies Mrs. Varma also appeared to be totally distraught. But at least in my mind things have cleared up. Where was the love and the feeling for Mother? From New Delhi messages were probably being sent to the bank in Milano to transfer funds hurriedly on a day when Mother’s sacred body was being covered by stone.

38. I am attaching the original documents of the bank so that the truth is revealed. Many more such transfers to the same recipient can be seen in the documents. They are self-explanatory. (Annexure-9, Bank Documents)

39. My only question to those yogis who helped the family in taking Mother to Pujas against Her Wishes is – ARE THEY HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DID? They did this for family members who have clearly shown their intentions of why Mother had been forced to do things She didn’t want to. Many Sahaja Yogis know who they are. It would be good if they stayed away from all pujas because they have no loyalty for Mother.

40. There is nothing more to be said.

Kalpana Didi

P.S. Please forward this mail to all World Foundation members and all Central Committee members. I am also sending this mail to many yogis who are seekers of truth.

To the World Council and all National Leaders.

As certain disturbing rumours have been spread among ltalian Sahaja Yogis by

Italian Sahaja leadership about the reasons for the present state of the health of SHRI

MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI and serious allegations have been made against the

members of her family, principally her husband, namely myself, I consider it necessary

to state all related incontrovertible facts.

In April 2003, when Shri Mataji was in Mumbai, India, with our elder daughter

Kalpana, one evening she became very quiet and dozy. The same night She had some

hallucinations such as perceiving snakes and robbers when there were none.

I was then in Pune. Kalpana asked me to reach Mumbai immediately which I

did. My wife, SHRI MATAJI, was pleased and asked me to be with her and by her side

always and to look after all arrangements for her care. Since then I have given up all

my other duties and responsibilities and have been with her day and night except for

the few days when I was in a hospital recently for surgery. I am now back at my duty

and I am now again all the time by her side. And, in accordance with her wishes, I am

continuing to look after her in every detail.

As we all know, SHE is the GODDESS, AVATAR AND ADISHAKTI on this

Earth. But like all earlier INCARNATIONS, SHE has chosen to appear and reside on

this Earth in human form which is subject to infirmities, disease and decay.

In April 2003, when SHRI MATAJI fell ill and asked me to look after her, it

became my first duty to make the best possible arrangements for -

(l) HER MEDICAL CARE by the best available doctors, and

(2) HER NURSING CARE by the most competent nurses, all the 24 hours.

/

ANNEXURE-6 (SIR'S LETTER DATED 1 JULY 2005)

2

Since then, my duty and responsibility has been to ensure that at every location

where SHE may be at any time, SHE is under the care of the best available doctors and

nurses.

In this regard, I took another management step. I decided that a group of

SAHAJA YOGI doctors should have a careful look at the medicines prescribed by

professional doctors and only then should the prescribed medicines be administered to

SHRI MATAJI. This group of Sahaja Yogi doctors, presently comprises Dr. David

Spiro, Dr. Brian Wells, Dr. Deepak Chugh, Dr. Zafar Rashid, Dr. Bohdan Shehovych,

Dr. Ramesh Manocha, Dr. Bernadette Bonnefoi, Dr. Luminita Fratila and Dr. Ashish

Pradhan. They are in touch with each other constantly. This arrangement is the best

possible safeguard that only the best medicines are administered to SHRI MATAJI.

This practice has been followed scrupulously ever since.

I now come to the question of medicines. In April 2003 when SHE took ill, her

blood was examined in Mumbai and it was found that the level of SODIUM had fallen

to I l8 as against the essential minimum of 135. I was advised that very low Sodium

level is dangerous for the functioning of the brain and unless it was enhanced by

suitable treatment immediately the consequences could be disastrous. ln this situation,

the best NEUROPHYSICIAN in MUMBAI, DR. N. BHARUCHA, examined her.

Medicines were given to bring up the Sodium level. As SHE had been suffering also

from diabetes and high blood pressure, special care was taken to avoid any adverse

effect on these aspects.

As we were then preparing to leave for Italy, Dr. BHARUCHA advised us to

have her examined promptly after arrival in ltaly, by an internationally renowned

Italian NEUROPHYSICIAN, DR. ETTORE BEGHL Accordingly, I met DR. BEGHI

in Milan, soon after reaching ttaly. DR. BEGHI looked at all the medical documents

given to him by me and he desired that an MRI test of HER brain be done

immediately. This involved visit to a hospital. DR. BRIAN WELLS persuaded HER to

agree to this test. We went to Milan and the MRI test was done. After examining the

MRI images and report, DR. ETTORE BEGHI agreed to visit Palazzo Doria in

Cabella Ligure. He came and examined SHRI MATAJI very carefully. Then this

internationally renowned ITALIAN NEUROPHYSICIAN prescribed a daily dose of

2 mg of RISPERIDONE - a medicine which has been duly approved by the world

renowned FOOD AND DRUGS ADMINISTRATION OF THE UNITED STATES

3

OF AMERICA and which is still on the approved list. I have checked just now with

Dr. David Spiro, who has confirmed that this medicine is oapproved' in the United

Kingdom and is being prescribed by doctors in the UK in appropriate cases. I have

checked with Dr. Bohdan Shehovych and he has confirmed that this medicine is being

currently prescribed in appropriate cases in Australia.

As is the case in respect of all medicines, the quantity of daily dosage has to be

adjusted from time to time to suit the changing requirements of the concerned patient.

DR. ETTORE BEGHI had first prescribed a daily dose of 2 mg of the medicine

RISPERIDONE. After watching the effects of this dosage, it was deemed advisable by

the attending doctors to reduce the daily dosage by stages. This was done and the

dosage was gradually reduced to I mg,

We then went to the United States of America. She was examined there by

highly reputed doctors including a renowned cardiologist, Dr. Patel. She was also

under the vigilant care of Dr. Deepak Chugh who is himself a Neuro-Physician. The

quantum of RISPERIDONE was adjusted from time after watching HER conditions.

Early in November 2003 we went back to India.

During the year 2004 we repeated our program of visiting and staying in ltaly

from the end of April. Medical aid was continued as before. Towards the end of July,

2A04, we went away to USA. There, under the personal care and vigilance of Dr.

Deepak Chugh, Neuro-Physician, the dosage of Risperidone was brought down by

stages to 0.375. Early in December, 2004, we went back to Pune in India. There certain

symptoms such as hallucinations re-appeared. The doctors dealing with her case

decided for an increase in the dosage of Risperidone in stages. After some time, it

stabilised at0.625 mg per day.

This was the situation when we reached ltaly late in April this year (2005).

After a brief stay inPalazzo Doria, Cabella Ligure, we came to our house in Genova. I

then requested Dr. Giancarlo Fuente, Sahaja Yoga leader of Genova, to arrange for the

visit of leading specialists in neurology, cardiology, rheumatology and diabetes

mellitus. Each one of them examined her and expressed satisfaction with the treatment

which had been given to her so far and with her general condition. Relatively minor

adjustments were suggested, which, after due consultation among Sahaja Yogi doctors,

were implemented.

4

The Neurologist suggested a reduction in the dosage of Risperidone to half of

0.625 mg and after some time a further reduction and eventual elimination if there

were no adverse developments in SHRI MATAJI's condition. After some discussions

he agreed to a more gradual reduction, beginning with a reduction to 0.5 mg. He

agreed that if at any stage, there were any adverse developments, a higher dose of this

medicine could be restored. At no time did he say that this medicine was a POISON.

In accordance with the established arrangements regarding overall vigilance by

a group of SAHAJA YOGI doctors, the suggestion for reduction in the dosage of

Risperidone was referred to this group for urgent consideration. As agreed by them,

within a few days, the dosage was reduced to 0.5 mg per day. The situation was being

carefully watched by the Resident Doctor at this time, Dr. Bohdan Shehovych, with a

view to further downward adjustment if no adverse developments took place, even its

total elimination. However, it was to be remembered, as advised by renowned

Neuropaths, that should unfortunately certain symptoms re-appear, Risperdon should

be restored at an appropriate level to take care of the new situation. Obviously they did

not regard Risperdon as "poison" - otherwise they would not have advised its

restoration even temporari ly.

At this time, suddenly a vicious propaganda was unleashed by the Italian

"SAHAJA YOGA' leadership, alleging that SHRI MATAJI was being "poisoned" by

the administration of Risperidone and that this was being done by her husband and

others of her family for ulterior motives!!

I had always regarded and respected all Sahaja Yogis as "ANGELS". This new

experience in Italy has been the most devastating of all my life.

I would like to add here that in accordance with SHRI MATAJI's own wishes,

SAHAJA YOGA treatment has always been provided from time to time. This has

included 'ofoot-soaking", "Aarti" with camphor and "candle treatment", always with

beneficial effect.

To me, my wife, SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI, is the very essence of my

life and the most beloved person on Earth. Her continuance on this Earth is the most

fundamental desire of mine. At HER personal request made to me, in April 2003 in

Mumbai, I have always been by HER side day and night. SHE asked me to sleep on

the same bed with HER and always be within the reach of HER hand. If, on waking

up, SHE sees me sleeping with my face turned to the other side, SHE wakes me up and

J

5

asks me to turn my face towards her. SHE calls me "SWAMI", which is a traditional

Indian word indicating the purest love and the highest respect for the husband.

During our married life of 58 years we have had arguments and differences of

opinion on mundane matters of rnomentary consequence like any other married couple.

But our mutual love and regard has always remained the solid foundation of our

relationship and will always so remain.

TFIE ALMIGHT'Y GOD has blessed us with two beautiful, wonderfirl and

loving daughters, KALPANA and SADHANA, two superb sons-in-law. PRABHAT

and ROMMEL, four most beloved grandchildren, ARADHANA, SONALIKA,

ANAND and ANUPAMA, three mmvellous grandsons-in-law, GAUTAM, KLINAL

and HEM and three divine great grandchildren, ANANT, ANANYA and SUMANT.

We are not very rich but we are not very poor either. As Secretary-General of

the lnternational Maritime Organization of the United Nations for a rword four terms

and sixteen years, I have earned substantial money and have, solely out of this, built

our residence in India- PRATISTHAN. I have a substantial monthly pension, enough

for all our requirements.

The insinuatioms by some Italian "Sahaja Yogis" (?) that I and my daughters

Kalpana and Sadhana have ulterior motives, can come only from minds that think on

those lines and, maybe, behave accordingly in their lives. As regards medicines for

SHRI MATAJI, they have to be administered or eliminated according to well

considered and competent medical advice and not mob hysteria instigated by ill

motivated persons.

I am sending this repoft to the WORLD COUNCIL and to all NATIONAL

SAHAJA YOGA LEADERS, in order to apprise them and the SAHAJA YOGIS of the

world of the factual situation regarding the management of the medical of SHRI

MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI, my wife and the mother of our two children - Kalpana

and Sadhana. We are determined to continue to arrange for the best possible medical

aid for HER and we assureyou that no insinuations will take us away from this path.

From: Kalpana <[email protected]> Date: Mon, Jul 30, 2018 at 2:11 AM Subject: Finding facts about Mother’s health To: <[email protected]>, chaddha dr <[email protected]>, <[email protected]>, Dr. Wells <[email protected]>, <[email protected]>, <[email protected]>

Dear William,

After receiving a copy of the letter written by Sir in July 05, which you sent me and requested me to tell you if all the facts in the letter were correct, I decided to contact Dr. Bharucha who is mentioned in this letter and Dr. Chadha who is not mentioned in this letter. Unfortunately I had never seen this letter before because until 2008 I had never used email.

The letter written by Sir CP did not refer to Dr. Chadha at all and this truly surprised me. I also did not remember meeting Dr. Bharucha at that time. Therefore it was important to ascertain the complete truth. And although I did remember clearly what had happened at that time it was important for me to speak with Dr. Chadha, who is the first doctor who came to see Mother when She first became a little quiet in my home in Mumbai, some time in February 2003.

He is a very busy doctor but very kindly gave me a lot of time on July the 3rd to talk to me. When I met him I asked him to tell me if he remembered what he saw when he first met Mother, and how he proceeded with the treatment. He in fact said he remembered everything to the last detail. I had called up Mr. Pradhan (an old Sahaja Yogi) who had been working with the Hinduja Business Group at that time and he had brought in Dr.Chadha. For my part I also remember clearly that one morning after breakfast I noticed that Mother was not Her usual jovial self. She had become a bit quiet. My niece Sudha who is Sir's sister's granddaughter was with me at that time. Sir was away in Pune. I immediately decided to call in a doctor and Dr. Chadha was there within a couple of hours. I remember he asked me if she was taking any medication and then went ahead with some blood tests and once the results came in, in a few hours, he started the treatment with salt added to Her food and She was fine.

Dr. Chadha clearly remembered that after seeing that She had been prescribed with diuretics for Her water retention, he had felt that the sodium levels may have become low. He therefore asked for some blood tests to be done, and by evening the results came in and indeed did show lowered levels of sodium in the blood, but not dangerously low. He said She had. HYPONATREMIA, a condition where there is a loss of sodium in the blood.

He remembered asking Her if She wanted to be admitted to hospital for a couple of days until the sodium levels came back to normal, Her answer was that She wanted to stay at home to continue the treatment. He said he agreed because the levels were manageable.

He then asked Her to be given some salt and reduced the dosage of the diuretic. He remembers coming in next morning to see Her and found Her sitting on the sofa in the living room and found that She was absolutely normal and very cheerful. He said She blessed him. He was very happy with the

progress and that he advised us that the food should have normal salt. He remembered that on both occasions Sir CP was not present. (Sir CP had been informed immediately of Her condition, as he himself mentions in the letter, but he did not come for at least 3 to 4 days.) Then Dr. Chadha remembered that when he came to my house a few days later to check Her up, Sir CP was also there with Her. He told me that he remembered very clearly three things that happened that day. 1) She insisted that he should be given his fees and gave him rupees 500. 2) She gave him a tie. 3) Sir CP asked Her to give him self-realization. She then held doctor's hands, and also told Sir that the doctor did not need it, since he already had it. At this point doctor told me that he came again a couple of times at few day intervals, and found Her to be absolutely normal. I then showed him the letter written by Sir CP on 1st July 2005. He was indeed surprised to see that Sir CP took Her to see Dr. Bharucha who is a neurologist at the Bombay Hospital. Dr. Chadha clearly stated that in Her condition wherein She was absolutely normal, there was no need for Her to be taken to any neurologist. He had never advised Sir to do this. (To be honest even I do not remember going to Dr. Bharucha with Her.) I then asked him under what conditions could Risperdal be prescribed. He went on the internet and showed me that it was to be prescribed only for patients with schizophrenia or with bipolar disorder. He did of course add that sometimes patients with abnormally low levels of sodium may hallucinate, but the hallucinations go away when sodium levels return to normal. In any case Risperdal is not the drug for hyponatremia. Despite this I decided to inquire with Dr. Bharucha and sought an appointment with him. Mr. Sudershan Sharma, a trustee with Life Eternal Trust Mumbai accompanied me for the meeting. (I also had remembered that I had met Dr. Bharucha when I had come back to Mumbai from Italy with my daughter Anupama, after her accident.) Dr. Bharucha did not remember meeting Mother for any consultation. Then we showed him a picture of Mother and he said that sometimes after many years the face changes and it would be difficult for him to remember. We then showed him a picture of Mother in 2003. He still could not recollect having met Her. He did though remember very clearly meeting my daughter and in fact remembered a number of details connected with her accident. I then told him about Mother and showed him Sir's letter. He read it and wanted to know what I really wanted to ask of him. I said I wanted to know under what conditions would he prescribe Risperdal to a patient. He said in India this medicine was available under a different name, and that he never prescribed this medicine. He said that some psychiatrists did prescribe this medicine. I then repeated my question and asked him that under what conditions would he prescribe Risperdal for a patient. He replied that Risperdal would only be needed if a patient was rowdy or if a patient could either harm others or themselves. Sir's letter therefore was rather confusing to me. None of the points mentioned in the letter regarding the time he spent in Mumbai after Mother became quiet seemed to match the facts that I knew, and

3

have now been reconfirmed by two doctors. The rest of the letter speaks about the time after She reached Italy where I was not present, because I was in hospital in Italy with my daughter. I wonder what could have changed so drastically in a short while that Mother had to be administered a drug like Risperdal. Indeed it would be right to find out from the other doctors mentioned in the letter that did She suddenly become schizophrenic, or had a bipolar disorder, or had become rowdy, or was a danger to Herself or to others. Or was there some other reason. Hopefully they could give a clear answer. I am sending a copy of this letter to Dr. Chadha, Mr. Sudershan Sharma, and also to Dr. Wells to whom I had spoken about this matter when I had first received your letter. I am sorry for having taken so much time in replying to your letter but do hope that I have been able to give you some factual information.
