THE CLEAN ENERGY LEADER® STRATEGYSustainable efficient technology
The New Holland Brand values
17
Since 2006 Clean Energy Leader means pioneering and promoting renewable fuels and sustainable agriculture. We offer today’s and tomorrow’s farmers the widest choice of products to enable them to get more from their farms: advanced technologies and systems which improve agricultural efficiency and productivity. We care about the world in which our customers farm, so we help them to reduce
emissions, lower fuel consumption, better manage their soil, control valuable water resources, optimise production inputs and cultivate clean energy sources.

Farmers can cultivate a wide range of crops, not only for food and fodder, but also for energy production. New Holland has all the products to support them.
New Holland was the first manufacturer to offer 100% biodiesel compatibility back in 2006. Today, New Holland has the Industry’s largest range of 100% biodiesel compatible products and all Tier 4A ECOBlue™ SCR products can run on 20% B20 biodiesel and all Tier 4B ECOBlue™ HI-eSCR products can run on 7% B7* biodiesel (B5* in NAFTA region)

Ethanol
New Holland is actively involved in the promotion of bioethanol through its partnership with Growth Energy in North America.
Biomass is the ultimate renewable energy source. That is why biomass is an important part of the New Holland development cycle. With New Holland, farmers can choose between a range of
machines that help them harness the energy they have grown.
New Holland is now focusing on the Methane Power tractor which is a key step toward the Energy Independent Farm concept. The prototype is powered from the energy produced on the farm and offers environmental advantages including emissions 80% lower than a standard diesel engine. When using bio-methane, the carbon impact is virtually zero and cost savings between 25% and 40% can be achieved when compared with conventional fuels.

TIER 4 TECHNOLOGY – ECOBlue HI-eSCR
New Holland was at the forefront of the introduction of Tier 4A emissions technology. The result is that today you benefit from the Industry’s widest range of Tier 4A compliant products.
New Holland was the first manufacturer to lay out a clear roadmap for Tier 4B compliance. Used on over 35 tractors and 20 harvesting products ECOBlue™ HI-eSCR technology brings customers substantial benefits in terms of machine performance, productivity and fuel efficiency.
FPT Industrial has pioneered SCR technology since 1995 and has already produced over 450,000 SCR engines during the last eight years for the agricultural, construction and haulage industries.

28
PRECISION LAND MANAGEMENT (PLM®)
New Holland offers a full range of Precision Farming solutions.
Doing more with less: that is what precision farming is about. New Holland’s PLM
technologies analyse and plan all the farmer’s tasks in the field, pinpoint areas with lower yields where inputs can be focused, enable them to precision place seeds, fertilizer and pesticides to ensure maximum returns, achieving uniform planting and crop protection. Furthermore it enables them to analyse yields on the go, stay in touch with their machine from the farm office and keep it safe.
MECHANIZATION
Combined with the appropriate farming techniques, mechanization makes a huge difference in obtaining the most from scarce resources, optimizing the use of land, water, seeding and planting, and fertilizer. Today, mechanized harvesting can
reduce waste by up to 15 times when compared to traditional, manual techniques. This means more valuable grain to feed the world’s ever growing population.

Innovations
A whole host of award winning innovations such as ABS SuperSteer™ system front axles, Auto Command™ continuously variable transmissions and IntelliCruise™ technology boost productivity as well as enabling you to tread a little more lightly on the land where you farm. New Holland: improved productivity, enhanced environmental efficiency.
By reducing the impact of farming on the agricultural environment, you ensure that it stays healthier for longer, and your children and their children will be able to farm the same land just as efficiently.

REMANUFACTURING AND RECYCLING
Increasing the quality lifespan of parts
By regenerating or remanufacturing worn components (cores), CNH Industrial reduces waste, reuses
materials, and encourages the recycling of recoverable materials. Remanufacturing cores is an industrial process that allows granting the same standards of operational performance as new products, triggering a virtuous cycle of saving in raw materials and reduction in materials going to landfill.
