MANDATORY PARENT/STUDENT MEETINGThere is a mandatory parent meeting for all actors and technicians who have been cast on Tuesday, January 4,2022 from 6:00p.m.-7:30p.m. This includes all parents and students who are participating in the production.

A PRELIMINARY REHEARSAL CALENDAR can be found at the back of this packet. This is just to give you asense of what the schedule will be. A final rehearsal calendar will be posted in VSM www.stagemangement.com.Vocal and Acting rehearsals will run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30-6:30pm and ChoreographyRehearsals will run on Thursdays from 3:30-6:30pm.

What should I wear to my audition?1. Dance Call: Wear clothes you can move in. No jeans. Jazz and Character shoes if you have them.2. Singing/Acting Audition: Dress professionally by dressing for the part you are auditioning for.

What should I prepare for my audition?

1. Vocal Music Look at the part yourare auditioning for. Next to it you will find a link to the vocal sides you needto prepare prior to the audition. Those will also be in Google Drive. You will also find audition tracks in theGoogle Classroom for the show.

What do I need to bring to my audition CHECK LIST

About the ProductionMatilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She's unloved by her cruelparents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Over the course of her first termat school, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other's lives, as Miss Honey begins notonly to recognize but also appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn'tcompletely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates childrenand just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda hascourage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!
