4th February 2013 - Whole school Assembly and launch of Staying Safe Online Week. Year 9 pupils to participate in ‘The Jitty’ on line safety survey and the whole school will participate in various activities using specialist resources including So u think u know. 21st February 2013 - Designated Senior Safeguarding Training, for three members of staff, at Redmoor. Whole Day 8th March 2013 - Pedestrian Safety. Theatre presentation and workshop Year 9 April12th 2013 E Safety Assembly Pupils were shown a clip from ‘Dirt Sticks’ of a young girl on interview for a job. The interview was going very well and it seemed that she was a strong candidate for the position until the shop owner starting asking questions about the nasty comments she had made about people on Facebook. The shop owner quoted some of the inappropriate comments and asked the shocked interviewee how would she treat those people should they enter the shop as a customer? The interviewee ended up leaving the shop without getting the job!

Following the whole school assembly the year 9 pupils participated in an E safety workshop with James and Craig from the Jitty Website.
