1. DIDACTIC SETTING OUT OF THE KITS!!!!   "e main aim of these kits is that the students get to know the

structure and main characteristics of DNA through a 360º learning approach which includes: assembling of the molecule, didactic guide

with exercises and activities together with audiovisual material in order to deepen the knowledge and make it attractive.!

2. What does a kit include? !!!!  

•  4 die-cast pieces ready to be assembled (bend and stick) which represent each of the nucleotides which DNA consists of.!

!•  12 die-cast pieces ready to be assembled (bend and stick)

which represent pairs of bases. 6 Adenine-Tymine, 6 Guanine-Cytosine. Once they have been assembled you will construct the tridimensional model of DNA.!

•  One supporting base so that the tridimensional model can be stuck on it !

•  Assembling instructions and drawings !

•  A printed didactic guide with information, notes, videos, instructions and activities. !

•  A tube of glue. !Pairs of bases!

3. Types of Kits!!!   "ere are 2 types of kits: Elementary Kit and Advanced Kit. Both contain the same material, the

differences between them are the guides and models which have been made for different levels:!!

•  !e Elementary kit is aimed at 14-16 year-old students and people with a basic knowledge about DNA. !

•  !e Advanced Kit is aimed at 17-18 year-old students and people with a more advanced knowledge about DNA and/or with a greater interest in it. !

3. Other Types of Kits !!!   We also have some other products aimed at teachers, classrooms and to encourage team work!

•  !e Teacher Kit (two levels= the difference is only in the didactic guide and the final explanations). !

•  !e Customizable molecule: we also have blank pieces molecules so that the class can customize DNA either by painting it, by adding stickers to it or in any other way. "is is ideal for team work. (It contains 15 pairs of bases). !

•  !e classroom pack : designed to work in a 25 students classroom through team work. It contains 5 molecules + 5 didactic guides + 1 teacher´s guide + 1 customizable molecule with 15 pb. "ere are 2 levels of classroom packs (14-16 year-old students and 17-18 year-old students). "ese packs are 15% cheaper than the individual packs or kits.!
