Using digital media in textiles/artDo you want to use digital media in your classroom to enhance lessons and engage students? Did you know that it is a requirement in BTEC for students to present work using a variety of formats including video, audio, photographic and using online tools?In this course we shall explore different free software titles to edit photos, create movies, make mp3 files and use online presentation tools.

Using digital media to engage and interestIntroduction

This is a unique opportunity to develop essential skills using digital media in a supportive environment.

All the software we shall use is free and all the equipment needed to support the activities is available from the eLearning Centre as loan kits.

If you want to preinstall the software on your own laptop then contact the centre for further information.

Podcasts, mp3 and audio filesAll will be explained! Record your own files, edit them and use them as backing tracks for your video.
