Americans today use mobile devices for media access as much as they use laptops or desktop computers, and one-fifth of total media consumption time across all media is spent on mobiles. Recent reports from the United Kingdom indicate that the use of mobile devices for online purchasing is also on the rise, with mobile transactions having doubled in the past year and now accounting for nearly 25 percent of all online sales.
