In this, the newest edition of The Co-operative Digest, we are proud to showcase some of the wonderful work we have done. It’s also a great place to get to know the team at Delineo a little bit more.

We believe the great work displayed in this digest is simply a taster of things to come in 2011, and we look forward to working with you on projects in the near future.

Client:The Co-operative Group

Title:Charity of the Year Santa Dash

Brief:A big curtain raiser eventwas needed to launch The Co-operative Charityof the Year. This would only be a success ifenough Santas turned up,so to drive participation, Delineo produced creativethat spread across

collaterol including flyers,posters, banners and webbanners throughout the main corporate website. For the first time a newwebsite was designedand built specifically for the Santa Dash. This was used to engage the public, inform runners and encourage registration. Over a thousand Santas braved the cold in Manchester and London to raise more than £30,000.

Title:Halloween Ball 2010

Brief:We were asked to develop a visual identity combining the Halloween theme and a glamorous gala dinner.

To achieve this our creatives came up withan excellent pumpkin/disco ball design on adeep purple background,with accompanying eerietypography, in keeping with the classy yet spooky Halloween Ball. This design was then rolled out across all related print material to complete the look on the night.

For the Halloween celebrations, the Delineoteam were lucky enough to be invited to the ball.Dressing up, the wholeAddams Family madean appearance: Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch (Authentically played by Lauren, Sam, Dave, Jade, Ant and Jason).

Client:The Co-operative Pharmacy

Title:Local Marketing

Brief:We have been working with The Co-operative Pharmacy to update alltheir core health service branch point of sale.We have design templatedartwork in the form oftoolkits enabling branches

to localise artwork andshowcase their individualoffering, but also to ensure all branches are promoting themselves in aconsistent, on-brand way.

After Delineo’s completionof The Co-operative Pharmacy brand guidelines in 2010 – all thedesign & formatting rules were applied to all these key pieces helping to strengthen brand awareness in branch.

Across a wide rangeof messages from Prescription Services,all the customer communication around abranch refit or relocation,to a suite of marketing collateral to specifically help fight the local competition - we’ve designed and supplied artwork for window posters, till screens, wobblers, local press adverts and doordrop leaflets.

Title:Shine Magazine

Brief:After a 5-way pitch win during summer 2010, twoissues of Shine have beenreleased to over 3,000 Co-operative Travel staff.The updated version tookinspiration from consumermagazines so that a stylish/modern feel wouldmake staff want to readthe new Shine magazine.

To involve staff and attractattention to the magazine,we included a high end fashion photo shoot, featuring employees as models and the results were amazing.

Title:Tackling Global Povertybrochure and short film

Brief:Delineo was given thetask of bringing to lifeThe Co-operative’s Tackling Global Poverty campaign initiative.We produced a brochure and DVD,working closely with theInternational Development,team to really bring home the success ofThe Co-operative’s support.

The brochure and short film were designed toshow the positive changesthat The Co-operative has made in some of theworld’s poorest communities.

Our creative lead image of the ‘Honeycomb Atlas’ has been used as an interactive board showing the initiatives.

Title:Annual Conference

Brief:An annual conference needs to be the highlightof the year and the eventsteam at The Co-operativeFinancial Services

secured the excellent Concorde Function roomat Manchester Airport. The creative for the eventneeded to resonate withthe venue, so a charming“check-in” system wasdesigned, where guests would take their “ticket”

(invite) and be told wheretheir seat was at the check-in desk. The Concorde brand andfeel was incorporated intothe CFS/Britannia dualbranding to give thatfinishing touch.

Title:Suppliers Conference/ Charity Dinner

Brief:We were asked to produce creative for a dual event - Suppliers, associates and staff gathered at The LowryHotel for the daytime Conference followed in theevening by a spectacular

Charity dinner held atManchester Cathedral. To capture the essenceof the event a contrastingyet complimentary design was used as the visual identity.

Brief:Delineo were asked todesign a newsletter whichwould be emailed outbi-monthly to the marketing departments of all The Co-operative businesses to share newsand findings from the Propositions, Consumer Insight and CRM teams.We created a user friendly,

Title:Travel ski point of sale

Brief:Standout imagery was needed to highlight The Co-operative Travelsgreat Ski offers. For this we collected together some great action shots to bring to life the fun ofa ski holiday. As with allretail marketing, high quality creative was required and at a very fast turn around - we were only too happy to be involved.

Title:Interactive community map promotion

Brief:The Co-operative’s interactive community map needed some promotion so using theblue, yellow and white ofSocial Goals colourways,we produced pull up banners that were sent to every corner of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This then followedon with web banners that were used on the main site as well.

Contributing to the community with local marketing collateral

Title:Delineo’s 12 days of Christmas

Brief:The Delineo 12 Days ofChristmas ran from the 8th - 23rd December. The competition includedprizes ranging from aSpa Day to a Silverstone Driving Day and a Nintendo Wii.

The competition was agreat success, registering5,749 unique users, spending an average of2.28mins on the interactivecalendar website.
