(Ward, 2013)
What does time feel like?
Time Monitoring Questions: • How long do I think this will take me? • How long did this take me? Self Monitoring Questions: • What do I feel like before starting the
assignment? • What activities or distractions interrupted my
work time? • What do I feel like after completing the
assignment?
(Ward, 2013)
Example Homework Slip Directions: Before completing tonight’s homework, fill out the first two questions. Once you have finished the homework assignment fill out the last three questions.
Before: 1. How do you feel right now?
2. How long do you expect this homework assignment to take?
After: 3. How do you feel now that you have completed the assignment? 4. How long did it take you? 5. Did anything to distract you, and if so, what was it? (texting, phone calls, Internet, video games, family, pets, etc.)
Materials Management
Student Design Tools:
– Binders – Accordion files – Electronic files (Google Drive)
Methods:
