Complete visual and in-store identity reinvention including environmental design and fabrication, fixture design and installation, and strategic merchandising

BIRCHBOX

Bringing Birchbox from E-commerce to Brick and Mortar The first brick and mortar flagship store for the online-exclusive beauty subscription service including design, merchandising, production, and installation.

• RPG contributed its expertise in retail design, merchandising, and manufacturing to facilitate a brand-new shopping experience that introduces product by category, rather than by brand

• The store itself holds the same selection online of over 250 brands and 2,500 products, highlighting Birchbox’s point of difference as personalization and curated storytelling

• Over 4,200 sq. feet on two floors, an expansive loft space with 15-foot ceilings, a grand feature wall, a glass and stainless-steel staircase, and a BYOB (Build Your Own Box) area

• The personality of Birchbox is defined by unique design elements such as marquee letters, neon signs, the use of birch, and the strategic reinforcement of the iconic diamond pattern

• Use of technology creates a distinctive omni-channel experience with interactive iPads and large video screens, as well as a rewards system that is connected to online subscriptions
