DESIGN • The LTS introduces operators to a solution

for the processing of hard rock and ore for the mining and quarrying industry. The LTS is a long life, low maintenance with reduced operating cost Apron Feeder Stockpiler

• Custom designed to suit each application and capacity whilst optimising plant capacity. It reduces loading height and ramp costs whilst being simple to maintain

• The LTS has a large capacity hopper which can be feed by any wheel loader, excavator or dumptruck

• The LTS regulates the flow of material output by holding a buffer of material. This combined with a fully speed adjustable belt allows a regulated flow of material to the main conveyor

• Overall stability is provided by a track frame width of: 2560mm (4’8”)

• The Edge LTS75 pin points on the galvanised telescopic supports are fitted with inner and outer high tensile anti-wear bushings.

• Hopper capacity 7m³ (9 yards³)

• Hopper capacity with extended hopper sides 10.7m³ (14 yards³)

• Heavy duty hopper doors with reinforced box section

• Option of hopper extension and hydraulic

extended hopper sides

• Sensor on Jacklegs preventing tracking whilst hopper is in working position

• Enables for a quick set-up time

• Loading height of 2200mm (7’2”)

• Can be fed with any wheel loader, excavator or dumptruck

• Option of hydraulic extended doors

increasing hopper width to 4900mm (16’)

• Allowing for easier loading access at rear of hopper

1150mm (3’9”)

• 1200mm (48”) wide Apron Feeder

• Apron Feeder length of 4815mm (15’8”)

• Capable of a fully laden start up

• This facility provides operators with the flexibility to start or stop the feeder when required, without production stoppages

• Variable speed control ranging to 2.8m/m

• Apron Feeder discharge of 1150mm (3’9”)

• Hydraulically driven by a Sauer Danfoss motor and Brevini gear box assembly

• Producing 9000Nm of torque

• The LTS apron feeders are manufactured using heavy-duty track rollers and chain fitted onto a robust fabricated support frame, and high-strength machined steel head and tail shafts.

• The Apron cassette frame consists of; 12mm (1/2”) plate at a depth of 584mm (23”)

• A fully supported roller bed reduces the chances of damage to apron feeder chain during heavy impact

• The bearings on the carrying rollers are engineered to accept high impact loads and are sealed for lifetime lubrication and extended wear.

• The LTS drive sprockets incorporate a hunting tooth design which increases their life span.

• Due to the durable and long-life nature of the components used, the LTS apron feeder is easily maintained even under severe conditions.

Page 9: Design - Avesco AG · • The ribbed design of the apron feeder belt utilises the surface area to allow for a positive grip on the loading material, whilst also providing a lightweight

• The close overlapping shoes prevent spillage in between the shoes, even in the most exposed areas around the head and tail sprockets

• The ribbed design of the apron feeder belt utilises the surface area to allow for a positive grip on the loading material, whilst also providing a lightweight yet strong surface for load impact

• The ribbed construction allows the bolts attaching the shoes to the chain to be positioned in the deep recesses of the ribbed shoes, thus protecting the bolts from damage from loading material.

• The bolted construction allows individual shoes to be easily removed in order to access and maintain components on the LTS apron feeder.

• Option of either a standard steel apron feeder or Heavy Duty rubber belts availably

• Variable speed

• Remote for Apron Feeder allows user to;

• Stop / Start Feeder

• Raise / Lower Feeder angle

• Allows user to have full control of material flowing from feeder to main conveyor thus preventing unnecessary blockages
