MARTIN ® Screen Vibrator Models (1800 rpm and 3600 rpm)

One M ARTIN ®  SV 18 -7 7 0 0 Screen Vibrator

One DERRICK ®  Super G™ M otor

To assure its suitability for direct replacement, the

MARTIN®

Screen Vibrator was tested in directcomparison to the DERRICK ® Super G™ VibratingMotor.

In the testing of individual and dual-1800 rpm vibra-tor installations, vibration was monitored in twodirections: perpendicular to the material flow (Y) andparallel to the material flow (X). Measurementswere performed using accelerometers at a numberof fixed points along the screen.

As seen in the graphs at the right, the amplitudeand frequency of screen deck vibration were

shown to be the same.
