    a. Innowits Project (Blinds for D & T rooms)

    Mr Low Hwang Chee updated

    department on the progress of the

    project. As the school would be

    undergoing PRIME, it would be more

    feasible to work with less permanent

    fixtures. He would move on to consult

    school contractor to access situation.

    To cut down on time spent procuring

    quotations and having to eventually

    work with school assigned contractors,

    Ms Sylvia Goh suggested putting up an

    ESSS. A contact list be provided by the

    Administrative Managers for teachers

    on contractors assigned to schools suchas Apple, Building Management etc.

    2 ICT

    a. Updates on FMS

    To facilitate reflection on the FMS

    lessons, protected time for all FMS

    teachers was fixed at 2 3.30pm on

    Wednesdays.

    All student macbooks would be

    reconfigured in June as students havebeen found to reset the Apple Remote

    Desktop (ARD).

    Teachers are to use P list and report

    ARD irregularities to Mr Paul Leong,

    HOD IT using screen capture.

    Teachers are advised to inform parents

    of potential gaming addicts in view of

    the rising trend of student gaming

    given their easy access to the macbook.Names of students caught playing

    games are to be shared with Mr Dennis

    Koh HOD Discipline for action to be

    taken.

    All software required by the different

    departments for teaching and learning

    to be collated by the next meeting.

    This would facilitate procurement on

    school end.

    b. E-Learning day was fixed on 11 July 2008

    All necessary preparations to be made

    prior to that to facilitate the session.

    Smartboard resources can be found on

    www.promethean.planet.com

    Wikispaces is another good platform

    for teachers to share resources and
