Presented by Claire Henry, M.Ed., CDPClaire Henry, M.Ed., CDP is a masters’ level clinician and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Claire is well-known in the elder care community for advocacy on behalf of clients with dementia, and for providing specialized services to dementia patients and their families. Additionally, she has worked with organizations and care facilities that serve this population by designing programs and developing specialized training curricula. Claire currently holds the position of Dementia Program Director at Meadow View Center in North Reading.

our goaL:The purpose of this 60-minute presentation is to educate the clinician regarding “Person Centered Care” within the memory impairment unit. By educating the caregiver and modifying the traditional approach to care; the caregiver will develop better skills to redirect behavior symptoms with positive outcomes.
