About Our Company
DeEtta Jones and Associates is a leading force in
shaping contemporary thinking and practice
around integrated and sustainable approaches to
personal transformation, workplace culture,
diversity inclusion and equity.
Our work with hundreds of organizations in many
sectors and across the world has led us to one
conclusion—we are at a threshold. This threshold
will either be the outermost limit of our ability to
adapt and thrive in today’s face-paced world, or
the breakthrough to a new era filled with
invigorating ideas, access to diverse thinking and
skills and the possibility for manifesting our
desires. Our commitment is to the latter, and we
know that a new approach is needed.

Founder & Principal
For over 20 years, DeEtta Jones has guided people and
organizations through the process of fundamental
transformation. She has been a leading voice in shaping
contemporary thinking and practice around integrated
and sustainable approaches to personal transformation,
workplace culture, diversity and inclusion. Her years of
experience as a management consultant, diversity and
inclusion educator, organization development and
training professional have led to her being one of the
most sought after speakers and consultants in her field.
She brings a holistic approach to her work that stems from her belief that there is wisdom in many fields and
breakthroughs live at the intersection.
Before launching DeEtta Jones and Associates in 2005, she served for 10 years as Director of Diversity and
then Director of the Office of Leadership and Management Services at the Association of Research
Libraries, an international not-for-profit representing the largest research institutions in North America. In
these roles DeEtta was called upon as a thought-leader to set direction for the design and oversight of more
than 9 international leadership programs, as well as a suite of professional development services including
training and organization development. Prior to this, she was and Director of Human Rights Advocacy and
Education for the City of Fort Collins and Director of Multicultural Education at Colorado State University.
DeEtta has served as an adjunct faculty member, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on
leadership and diversity, at Colorado State University and University of Maryland, College Park. She is a
certified administrator of the Center for Creative Leadership’s suite of assessment tools, the Intercultural
Development Inventory (IDI), the Intercultural Conflict Style (ICS) Inventory, as well as a host of other
validated and heavily used instruments in the leadership development arena.
DeEtta has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education from
Colorado State University, and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University. She lives outside of Chicago,
IL, with her family.
DeEtta has been called upon to speak to audiences
around the world on topics including diversity, equity and
social justice; increasing employee engagement; fostering
an environment that nurtures creativity and innovation;
and transforming workplace culture.

Participants will be encouraged to
share resources and seek
opportunities to collaborate in
ways that are meaningful to their
individual divisions as well as to
the overall goals. Structured
experiences will be explored and
designed with input from your
organizations representatives and
leadership program participants.
Cross-Division Collaboration
Participants will take advantage of the
opportunity to reflect, individually and with
colleagues from across the organization,
including employees from their various
divisions. This learning space, in-person and
virtual, will provide the structured space so
often lacking in executive’s busy lives—time
to reflect and think strategically. Structured
reflection exercises are provided to ensure
maximum support and take-aways from each
session, and the learning will be iterative
over the course of the program year.
Designated Time for Reflection
and Shared Experience
This immersive experience is meant to
focus more heavily on personal
learning and reflection than providing
participants with magic bullets. Each
session will expose participants to new
content that incorporates ideas for
