    Maslow has developed a hierarchy of needs of a person.
    A persons basic needs must be satisfied before he progresses to the next levels of needs before achieving self-actualization which is reaching ones full potential at the final stage.
  • 12. Difficult for John to move to the next stage of human needs (self-actualization).
    Almost impossible for John to have a good self-esteem, being recognized and approved.
    Johns psychological needs are badly lacking.
    As an evidence of:
    • Worn out family relationship between John towards his mother and his stepfather.
