Meeting called to order Secretaries Report: Membership present approved the October minutes as published in the club’s newsletter. October board minutes were read. Mail read. Treasurers Report: Marie gave the financial report for October. Membership: Prospective new members introduced themselves and they were welcomed by the membership present. Thank you, Louise Torkelson for the assist. 50/50 Raffle: Gayle Kukulka introduced herself and said she would be going around and selling tickets with the drawing to be held shortly after the meeting is over. Barb Hoffman assisted Gayle this evening. Presidents Report: Wayne said we had a great past month with WDC’s Fun Match and Obedience/Rally Trials, both making a nice profit. Also, this past weekend the club offered CGC testing, tricks testing and Act1 & 2 for agility. Thank you all for stepping up and doing this for the club. Wayne mentioned also that the club received a note from Mike Evarts that he found an old school molded plastic crate/kennel in his extra garage. The size is 24w x 25h x 36l and all the parts are there and it comes with a heavy-duty crate dolly. If interested please give Mike or Annie Evarts a call or email. Winter Show: Margie Hohman said WDC’s winter show is coming up on January 11 & 12, 2020 and will be held at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, WI. and we will need help in many different areas this year. She said she would put the clipboard with the sign-up sheets on it over on the grooming table by the kitchen and after the meeting please sign up to help. Talk to Margie if you have any questions. Parades: Penney Garbe said the Appleton Christmas Parade is coming on Tuesday November 26th. And WDC is #15 in this year’s parade!! This parade is televised and the biggest parade around so plan on coming out and having a great time and earn three hours while doing so. This year’s theme for the parade is “That Holiday Feeling”. Penney said she will have our website and Facebook page updated with information on the parade also. Awards: Jackie Kobierecki said that she and co-chair Carol Lenz are looking forward to receiving the information for the awards that you have earned this past year.

So, gather up the information for all the titles you have earned and turn in to either her or Carol. All the information for this is in the newsletter and on our club’s website. Also remember that those whose dogs have earned an award plaque for previous titles, this is a perpetual award plaque and they have a box in the office where the plaques can be put so they can have the new titles added. Wall Plaques: Amy Kading introduced herself as the new chair for doing the wall plaques. She missed getting the information in the newsletter but the form is on the website for you to print out. The sheet to fill out will be in the newsletter (next month) and online. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. This would be for titles earned from January 1 through December 31 of this year. It is also acceptable to send me an email with all the information that I need. Canine CPR and First Aid Class: Len Hoehne said that coming up on this Saturday, November 9th here at the club he will be holding another class from 8 AM until noon. He mentioned that he is giving members one last chance to sign-up tonight. This is a great class to learn how to keep your pet alive until you can get them to a vet. Please leave your dog/s at home. Len also mentioned that this might be the last class that he and Patty offer for the club. Appreciation Banquet: Linda Milliren said that our club’s banquet is coming up on February 1, at the Stone Toad Restaurant in Menasha. This is for all our club members not just those receiving an award. It is a fun time to get together with friends and meet new friends. The form to fill out for the banquet is in the newsletter or on the website and send on to me. Agility: Nancy Zolkowski said WDC has another agility trial coming up and again it will be held at the Oshkosh Kennel Club. The dates for the trials will be November 30 & December 1st. Nancy said she will be starting to contact the members that have signed up to help. Obedience/Rally Trials: Jolene Johnson thanked all of the members that came out and helped either or both days of the trials. We couldn’t do it without the help. Ring Stewards: Carol Mason thanked all the members that came out and helped ring steward for the weekend. Thank you!!!

your renewal by that date, your membership will lapse and you will lose credit for all your years of
