Pathway Statement of Intent( put this in front of Artists Journal/VEN) Pecha Kucha Ucas: online application and personal statement 1000 word illustrated essay Plus your new Artists journal for your new pathway project starting with brainstorming of
theme/ choosing pathway initial concepts etc all research (including the pecha kucha power point printouts) research on artists inspiration, influences, any interviews etc, onsite drawings, firsthand photography, artwork, experimentation of appropriate media in relation to your theme and chosen pathway specialism ie feltmaking will show various feltmaknig techniques in sample form as will printmaking. Animation will experiment with storyboarding and various software as will graphic design (the design development, design ideas, design sheets will come later)
(SOI)Statement of Intent: for new pathway stage brief…chosen theme and area of specialism timetable etc. Some of you have already completed these, those who haven’t, know who you are, so please email them to me at [email protected] by Tuesday 20th Dec.
Pecha Kucha: power point presentation that should include research of chosen theme eg: first hand photographs and internet based research. Research of area of specialism eg: internet based research interviews with designers or clients if your art is to be commissioned etc also any designer or artist or animator etc that has influenced or inspired you in your pathway specialism at this stage you will gain more as your project progresses but you only need to include those you have initially looked at now in your Pecha Kucha. This is to be presented the first week back after the Christmas holidays
UCAS: Everyone is logged on and have all personal details added ie name, address, previous education, course choices, employment etc you just all need to finalise your personal statements…some already have these completed and have emailed them to me to check for grammar and sentence structure. Anyone who hasn’t knows who they are so can you please do this promptly and email them to me [email protected] by Tuesday 20th Dec.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON APPLYONG TO HIGHER EDUCATION UNIVERISTY ETC YOU STILL HAVE TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM AND WRITE A PERSOANL STATEMENT IN ORDER TO PASS UNIT 3 OF THE COURSE. UNIT 3 LAOS REQUIRES YOU TO COMPILE A FILE TO SHOW YOUR RESEARCH ON APPROPRIATE COURSES TO YOUR CHOSEN SPECIALISM ie ANIMATION,GRAPHIC DESIGN, PHOTOGRAPHY ETC. COURSE FEES ACCOMODATION CAMPUS RESEARCH ETC BUS?TRAVELL COSTS etc etc.
