Overview and Goal for the Conference

The position of the dental school dean has evolved significantly over the years. While many deans enter their role focused on leading the academic enterprise, much of the dean’s day-to-day work focuses on providing executive leadership for the business enterprise, in areas such as financial management, crisis management, and public policy. The goal of the 53rd Annual ADEA Deans’ Conference is to provide dental school deans with information and tools to support them as their roles and responsibilities evolve.
