Can be sweet or dry.• Aromas of white fruit ( peaches, pears, apples, apricots)• Versatile- pairs with most food choices, especially spicy food.• Grows best in Germany (sweet), New York, Washington State, and
Alsace France ( crisp and dry).

• NOT ALL ROSE`S ARE SWEET!• Produced from red wine grapes.• Color is the result of skins in contact with the grape juice• Aromas of strawberries, raspberries, or cherries.• Versatile- pairs with almost anything…except spicy foods. How are they made? Bleeding- Crush grapes and leave skin in contact with the
juice. Pressing- Pressing red grapes until the juice is the desired
color. Limited maceration- Most common-leave skin in contact
with the juice, until the winemaker decides it’s the right color. Run off- remove the juice of the fermenting wine.
