Serial Dilution• Add 100 mL of water to

the beaker.• Add your substance and

mix.• This is your 100% solution

Serial Dilution• Take 10 mL of your 100%

solution and add it to 90 mL of water (this is your 10% solution).

• Take 10 mL of your 10% solution and add it to 90 mL of water (this is your 1% solution).

100%, 10%, and 1% solution.

• The 0% is water!
