1 Samuel 17:16-24 and 32-37David's faith and determination made him strong! He

might not have been as strong as Goliath, but he trusted God and was determined to show Goliath how big God is!

You are never too young or too small to do anything!

family discussion:1. What was the name of the giant?

2. How many brothers did David have? (1 Sam 17:12)3. What did David use to defeat Goliath? Was David

afraid?

Daniel 6:13-22Daniel prayed to God, even though it was against the

king's rules. When he got in trouble, he still didn't stop following God. Daniel was determined to keep on follow-

ing God. It's Awesome to see how God protected him from the lions!

family discussion:1. How many times did Daniel pray each day? (Dan 6:10)

2. What was his punishment for praying? (Dan 6:16)3. What did God do to protect Daniel from the lions?

Luke 15:3-6This shepherd had a lot of sheep, but he left them all behind just to chase after one that got lost. He was

determined – he didn't stop searching until he found the lost sheep. Just like this shepherd, Jesus will always try to

find us when we’re lost.

family discussion:1. How many sheep did the shepherd have?

2. Why do you think the shepherd left so many sheep just to find one?

3. Do you think Jesus would do the same thing to find you? Why?

pray° Thank God that he loves us so much.

° Pray for all the sick people.

Exodus 3:7-10God tells Moses to go and help the people of Israel.

Moses asks Pharaoh to set them free, but he keeps saying no. Moses stays determined! He keeps on asking until

Pharaoh finally lets the people free.

Matthew 27:30These mean soldiers spat on Jesus and called Him names. It wasn’t easy for Jesus to go through this sticky situation,

but He was determined, because He loves us so much!
