Data Views and Standardized Tables

This document contains a full listing and sample charts/tables for all the data views and standardized tables that are required in ACPE’s Evaluation Instrument (the “rubric”). They are correct for Version 4.0 of the instrument.

The majority of data views relate to the four AACP standardized surveys for graduating students, faculty, perceptors, and alumni. Most of the survey questions have a common response scale, namely: Strongly Agree (SA), Agree (A), Disagree (D), Strongly Disagree (SD), and No Comment (NC). Accordingly, the format of the data views for each of these questions is the same, and only one sample data view is provided. In the following list, this data view will be referred to as the “Standard Survey Question Data View.” The sample chart is provided for Graduating Student Survey Questin #85 under Standard 1.

The only exceptions to the above-mentioned survey question response scale are for Graduating Student Survey Questions #53 to #57; where, instead of “No Comments,” the scale has the option “Did not Use” (DU) or “Not Utilized.” These survey questions relate to Standard 16.

For each survey question, there are two charts. The first displays the college or school’s data for [up to] the past five years (if available) and the second displays the college or school’s data compared to national data for the most recent year for which both data sets are available (i.e. school/college and national data).

The sample charts and tables used in this document were created in the Assessment and Accreditation Management System (AAMS), a joint project of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and ACPE, and are used with permission. For this reason, the charts may contain some text related to the functionality of the software, e.g., Hide Graph (-); such text should be ignored. In most examples, fictious testing data are used, so they may not be representative of typical school data.
