RECEIVING REQUESTS- Only drivers logged into a shift can work and receive requests.

- Priority for receiving a request is based on the driver’s proximity to a pickup.

- Start in a busy area with lots of restaurants!

SCHEDULING- Open: Sunday - Thursday 6:30am-

10pm Open: Friday - Saturday 6:30am-11pm

- You choose your starting time and city.- You control the length of your shifts.- You can work multiple shifts per day.- Must schedule a minimum of 1 hour.

employee.- You control just about every aspect of your job.- DoorDash tracks drivers’ performance:

- Poor Customer Service- Incidents/Customer Complaints- Missing Items- Late Check-ins/Early Check-outs- Late Deliveries- No-Show Rate

SCHEDULING AND NO-SHOW RATE- No-Shows can lead to deactivations.

- No-Shows affect others drivers’ ability to make money.

- No-Shows affect our ability to effectively meet demand.

- You can create and delete shifts at will.- If you have to delete a shift:

- Provide DoorDash with a 12-hour window as a courtesy

- If you have to delete a shift at the last minue:- Send DoorDash a courtesy email to give us a

head’s up.

Compensation

● Dashers earn $5 per delivery + 100% of tips

● Most tips are electronic so DON’T expect a cash tip.

● You may accept a cash tips if the customer insists.

Payment & TaxesThe DoorDash pay period runs from Monday through Sunday.

Drivers are paid by the Wednesday that follows, every week.

Employees receive net earnings, after withholdings for taxes.

IC’s receive total gross – not net – earnings.

DoorDash does not withhold taxes.

Mileage can be a very beneficial deduction.

2016 IRS Standard Mileage Rate is 54 cents/mile.

You can use apps like SherpaShare or MileIQ to track mileage

ORReset your tripmeter for each shift and record it manually.
