Application: The NT 10 relay is intended for use
where high operating requirements are
necessary, such as in protection relay
systems, control equipment, industrial
processes, and control and signal
systems.
The multiple user selectable options
provide flexibility to user, for use in
various applications. The wide timing
range, high timing accuracy and
consistency of operation can replace
any other time relays.
Description: The time delay relay type NT 10 is high
precision, numerical time relay with
builtin electro mechanical output relays
providing- two CO signaling duty
contacts and one NO trip duty contact.
The micro-controller based relay designprovides accurate timing and varied
operating modes. The four operating
modes are: ON Delay, OFF Delay,
Flasher and Interval. The required
timing and operating mode can be set
by adjusting the DIP switches on the
front panel.
The timing function is triggered by
control input depending on the mode
selection. The control input has same
rated voltage as auxiliary voltage andis galvanically isolated.
The four LEDs on the front panel
indicates status of relay. The presence
of healthy auxiliary supply is indicated
by green 'Uaux' LED. The operation of
relay is indicated by red 'TRIP' LED.
The yellow 'Start' LED indicates,'timing' status in 'ON Delay' and 'OFF
Delay' modes. In 'Flasher' and 'Interval'
mode Start LED indicates the status of
control input.
The start LED additionally indicates the
change of mode selection. When mode
setting is changed, yellow 'Start' LED
blinks and the relay does not respond
to the control input till mode setting
change is applied by pressing 'Reset'
push button. The 'IRF' LED indicates the internal
relay fault.

OperationalModes:
The following modes are possible when the relay is energized with auxiliary supply.
ON Delay: In this mode, the timing starts when the control input is applied and after
the set time has elapsed, the delayed output switches to the operate condition
OFF Delay: In this mode, the output immediately switches to operate condition
when applying the control input and in which the timing starts when the control
input is disconnected and the output switches to released condition after set time
has elapsed
Interval: In this mode, the relay switches the output to operate condition for set
time when the control input is applied or removed
Reset PB will not have any
effect in this mode
Flasher: In this mode, the output periodically switches on and off with substantially
identical pulse on time and pulse off time as long as the control input is applied
Reset PB will not have any
effect in this mode
