The product has been designed around three core principles:

contained in multiple (and often unconnected) data stores and systems.

Most people are familiar with search engines like Google and use them to explore

the vast amounts of information available on the internet. CXAIR allows you to

apply the same ‘natural language’ to your queries, returning results with the

impressive speed and simplicity of search engine technology.

CXAIR also provides users with the ability to quickly filter results either by selecting

values on the screen or generating user-friendly range filters. This means that you

can choose and interpret the data you want without having to rely on running

pre-canned reports or SQL queries, eliminating the need for prior training.

CXAIR includes many powerful security features to ensure that information

presented is relevant and safe across the organisation. These include single

sign-on, realm-based security and integration with active directory for

Windows-based implementations. Data contained within CXAIR can be

automatically filtered to restrict access at document, row or column level for

groups or individual users, requiring only minimal configuration.

Analyse


Unlike many traditional Business Analytics tools, CXAIR does not store any of its

indexed data in a pre- aggregated form. This means that data is either aggregated

dynamically or presented back to the user at transactional level when queries or

reports are generated.

An advantage of storing data at transactional level is that it is always possible to

drill down from a total field, chart or Venn segment into the underlying records.

Ensuring that business users are confident in the data they see returned from a

query or report is critical in making Analytics a key part of their daily processes.

Venn diagrams are an extremely useful way of demonstrating relationships within

data. In CXAIR, users are able to generate and manipulate Venn sets over huge data

sets in an extremely simple and user-friendly interface, providing unparalleled

insight into data relationships through the ability to dynamically segment data

down to any level of detail.

Venn sets are able to display simple record counts, calculations or distinct counts

based on specific business criteria, enabling you to analyse information in many

different ways and identify clusters of data that can then be drilled into at

transactional level for further analysis.

CXAIR has the ability to produce multi-dimensional Crosstabs from your filtered

data. Users can nest multiple fields as rows or columns, select multiple measures

and calculations, apply traffic lighting and field formatting on any data contained

within the search engine, and ultimately produce tables of results in real-time.

Users can drill down from a total to the underlying data and drill back up to the

original Crosstab without any pre-configuration of the data. Unlike pivot table

services in EXCEL or reporting over OLAP data sources, Crosstabs run in real-time

across the actual event-level data and produce results in seconds without the need

to pre-aggregate or perform any pre-configuration.

Every Business Analytics tool has dashboards, but few provide facilities as flexible,

simple and comprehensive as CXAIR. With the ability to position the reporting data

anywhere on-screen in a variety of formats, users can structure and group related

data together to incorporate logos, pictures, images and text as if typing data into

a publishing package.

The User Interface (UI) has been designed to make the process of creating and

saving new dashboards as quick and as easy as possible, with full customisation to

use corporate logos, fonts and colour schemes.

Report


CXAIR allows you to schedule the distribution of single or multiple reports. These

reports can be sent as either an email attachment or a link accessed from the user’s

web browser. Scheduled reports can be rendered as a PDF document, EXCEL

export or HTML with embedded images and text. Schedules can be setup on any

desired time frame such as daily or weekly.

Report


Report alerts will trigger a notification to be sent to a person when a particular

event has occurred in a report. Users can configure these notifications to respond

to particular events as desired. Notifications can be received without the user

needing to access the application, providing immediate information.
