Part of the service are five affiliate programs with all different structures, three streaming technologies, an API for external partners, nine independent type of users, customer service dept. tools and three different generations of the product to maintain. This is Mindgeek’s most difficult product to handle because of its complexity. I was hired because of my expertise with complex projects, streaming experience along with my other skills. For the 4 years I was there, my focus were on improving the processes in place and automate as much as possible, prioritize and improve the quality of the product, build KPI dashboards to better evaluate the success of reaching targets, evolve obsolete technology, develop our own mobile streaming services, increase profitability and reduce costs. I have learned a lot along the way making me even more versatile. I’ve managed to build a very strong and efficient team with high velocity. All my projects were delivered on time because of a clear vision and understanding of my product. I’ve also mastered the Scrum & Agile methodologies, Kanban and work under PMO frameworks along the way. For my last year, I was also replacing for the Director position. I’ve gained a lot of experience dealing with the financial aspect of the product, from reviewing weekly P&L’s, monthly budget to building monthly, quarterly and yearly estimates. I was also responsible to do the quarterly CxO presentations for my product to present my next quarter initiatives along with the results of the previous one to upper management and stakeholders. No director also meant that I was directly reporting to our CEO. Innovastreams Product Manager & QA Senior Innovastreams was a startup company who needed someone very well organized, creative, a team oriented and very trustful person to become the product owner of two brand new products in streaming services area. I was determined to release a high quality product and nothing less. My passion to deliver top notched and bug free projects even made me act as a senior QA for couple of years, not finding the right quality assurance person based on my high standard. Over the years, I gradually built a team of eight people who were directly reporting to me. The products had a lot of success. Lots of projects followed; online payment service, affiliate program, monitoring tools, etc. I learned a lot during those 7 years, from Product Management to streaming technologies ( FMS, Flash, Adobe Live Encoder, Broadcasting software, H.264 compression formats ) and Basecamp Project Management tool.
