Objective I’m seeking an assignment in IT IS domain with a growth oriented organization to utilize my IT Infrastructure support skills for the growth of organization and myself.

o I have worked for one of the leading global BFS customer catering to various business critical applications primarily in the Investment Management space. The service includes Application Health Checks, Reporting and Overnight/Intraday batch feeds which accepts data from various Trust and Source Systems and makes it available for different applications and Start of Day trading. o As part of the assignment, have been engaged in Production activities such as monitoring and a bend resolution of Control-m Jobs, analyze and execution of DB2 queries, resolution of file transmission issues, automation of various manual tasks (UNIX platform).
o Strong skills in Control-M, DB2 and MySQL, practical knowledge of UNIX commands, Unix Shell Scripting.
o Deep knowledge in Deployment Management activities, such as Change Request validation, seeking approval based on review of the Change Request, Rollback planning, version control of deployment candidates etc.
o Extensive knowledge of IT IL concepts, hands on expertise on Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.

Under this project the Investment management applications are supported that are used by several business processes in IM line of business. Support is provided to maintain end to end trade flow and database for application. In addition time to time enhancement is introduced in the system which enables it to work more efficiently and user friendly. Enhancement request comes from the observation of different teams or business requirements.
The Positions Tracking System is a distributed, message based middle-ware system that runs on UNIX (Solaris). Messages come from a variety of internal and external systems in XML formats and a message hub transforms all incoming messages into a standard format for onward processing and finally put them into database. The scope of Investment Management PTS is to do new developments and BAU enhancement to the critical trading application / tools, which facilitate decision-making process in its core business of managing investment. The applications/tools developed in the project are directly used by Portfolio Managers to trade on Equity and Fixed Income Based Securities.
R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s
o Successfully worked in the team of 8 members involved in the following activities like 24x7 Monitoring of the
Control-M batches of Production and Dev environment, Urgent work requests reported through hotline calls, mails
and Netcool system alerts and first attempt to response/fix within priority wise SLA and escalating critical issues
adhering to on-call escalation process.
o Handled incident requests and critical application support. Critically involved in creation, resolution and
escalation of incidents pertaining to production changes.
o Worked on ITIL framework (Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management through

o Created and implemented Change Requests (CRQ’s) using Change Management Console for the changes being done in
production/UAT env.
o Identified and implemented changes in problem management handling system which saves cost as well as
unnecessary manual work.
