OIM – Oracle Identity Management is an identity management solution from Oracle. This product maintains user profiles for different systems like PeopleSoft, Oracle Apps, SAP etc; by way of reconciliation from a trusted source of personal-job information and then provisioning the user profile information across target systems.

Messages were configured for batch-publish for initial Reconciliation. Thereafter messages were configured for Incremental Reconciliation. Moreover CI/Message based Web Services were set up for Provisioning. (at OIM end Java based connectors were written by a separate team)

IMS for IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is one of the world’s foremost universities in distance education. Its ERP system ‘IMS for IGNOU or ODLSoft’, is based on PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0, FSCM 9.0, EPM 9.0, Portal 9.0, PeopleTools 8.49; supported on Linux and Oracle 10g.

Nature of Project This is an implementation project and it is being rolled out in phases, from IGNOU (Delhi). Currently the project is in Support & Maintenance phase.

PeopleSoft CRM 8.8, PeopleTools 8.44, Linux and Oracle 9g database. This was subsequently upgraded to CRM 9.0 and PeopleTools 8.48; supported on Linux and Oracle 10g.

Duration 1 Jul 2007 - 3 Aug 2007. I was transferred to Delhi when it was just 1 month the project started.
