• Participate in review of contract specification and develop Project Quality Plan in consultation with the Project Management Team.

• Coordinate the development of Inspection and Test Plan with discipline Project Engineers and Quality Supervisor.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT • Involved in the process of designing systems and procedures to meet the requirements

of ISO 9001 : 2008 and Ohsas 18001: 2007 and facilitate implementation of corporate quality management strategy

QUALITY CONTROL /WELDING INSPECTION• Prepare, Implement and Monitor all the QA/QC Procedures, QC Plans and Work

Instructions and Witness inspection as per the Inspection and Test Plan /Project Execution Plans.

• Involved in inspection right from Pre-Fabrication of Isometric spool, mechanical completion and commissioning

• Responsibilities include welding and fabrication inspection as well as – NDT Interpretation, ensure materials conform to drawings, shop standards, specifications and applicable codes, coordinate with customers' inspectors during inspection phases, build Hydro and Pneumatic test packages, weld map drawings, walkout drawings and punch out lines, keep up with pre-heats and post weld heat treating, ordering and maintaining all welding supplies and equipment, receiving and inspecting pipe spools from venders, Non Destructive Testing (Visual Inspection), completing a daily activity report and keeping up with all Quality Control documentation.

• Conduct Welding Procedure Specification at job site (WPS), document and maintain database for all welders' certifications.

• Review non-conformities at Receiving, In-process & Final Inspection stages and provide disposition decisions

• Take appropriate corrective &preventive action for closing out of the Non conformance identified throughout the phase of the project.

• Managing the team of Field Inspectors /QC Inspectors on a construction projects• Reviewing of the project drawings and work scopes and finalizing the welding and NDT

requirements as per the relevant codes and standard • Preparation of PQR, WPS, qualifying the welders, preparation of welder certificates,

WPS registers• Implementing and monitoring the QA systems and QC procedures in the work barges,

Monitoring welding activities, preparation of weld history sheets• Reviewing of NDT records and Radiographic films, co-ordinate with the NDT crews• Updating welder performance, preparation of weekly reports, verification of calibration

of measuring instruments• Supervising of the welding inspectors, reviewing of the QCDP prepared by the welding

inspectors • Monitoring the painting activities and preparation of painting reports• Witnessing hydro tests and preparation of reports, witnessing leak testing, punch listing

the system and close out and witnessing the bolt torque• Preparation for Tie-In Operations and establishing the Method Statement

CONTRACT QUALITY MANAGEMENT• Assessing the Vendor/Subcontractor during the Bidding evaluation stage and reporting

to the Corporate the basis of evaluation.• Summarising and compiling the Lessons learned on previous project and training the

Project team based on the analysis.• Preparation and Releasing the Subcontractor QA-QC Package Scope of svcs for the job• Scrutinising the Material Requisition Package of the Vendors &evaluating their QA-QC • Requirements.Managing the team of Inspectors (Mechanical & Piping, Civil,Electrical

and Instrumentation) and assigning their daily schedule• Training the Vendor /Subcontractor on the QA-QC scope periodically and integrally

working with them for meeting Project QA objectives

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT ROLE• Involved predominantly in preparing HSE manual, HSE Plans, conducting routing
