Parents………………
Without you, teachers would not have a job. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your child.
Please get involved with your child’s EHS experience.
Research has proven that when parents and teachers work together, everyone benefits: students tend to earn higher grades, perform better on tests, attend school more regularly, have better behavior, and show more positive attitudes toward themselves and toward school.

What the flip is a flipped classroom?
The flipped classroom constitutes a role change for instructors who give up their front-of-the-class position in favor of a more collaborative and cooperative contribution to the teaching process. There is also a change in the role of students who are used to being passive participants in the education process, where instruction is served to them. The flipped model puts more of the responsibility for learning on the shoulders of students and also provides differentiation for those students.-Bobby Blount
Assistant Superintendent of Accountability,Technology and Strategic Planning

How can students prepare themselves?
Go to www.quizlet.com for vocabulary practice.
Go to www.conjuguemos.com for grammar practice and drills.
Go to www.vhlcentral.com for an online textbook. There is only 1 license which means that students are not able to work on activities, only the very helpful tutorials.
If student misses a day, they can go to my calendario to see what we have done in class.
Students can keep up with their grammar books.
