Attendance• Attendance is essential for academic success.

Please be sure your child attends school every day.

• Let us know in advance if your child will be absent due to a medical appointment.

• Please call the main office (479-4418) each day your child is not well enough to attend school. Students may not call the attendance line themselves.

• Students are under the jurisdiction of the school from the time they arrive at school until they leave at the end of the day.

• If your child must leave school mid-day, the student must sign out in the office and must have parent permission.

• If your child is experiencing school anxiety, please contact the guidance counsellor so we can work together to try and resolve the issues.

Lates• Students who arrive late in the morning and

after lunch must report to the office for a late slip.

• Students are expected to be punctual for classes throughout the day.

• A pattern of lateness can affect academic success in much the same way as absenteeism.

• Chronic lateness may result in loss of school privileges (ex: extra-curricular activities, dances)

• Locks and lockers are the property of the school, damage or loss must be reimbursed.

• School administration has access to all lockers.

• Lockers may be inspected at any time.

• Lockers and combinations should not be shared.
