Strategic Spiritual Journey Mapmaking Q&A Sessions will be held May 1st, at 4:30pm and 7:00pm; Sunday, May 8th, at 11:00am (Spanish-language presentation); and Wednesday, May 11th, at 7:00pm. If you would like to listen to each of the members who helped create the map and have the opportunity to ask questions, please join us. Get Their Name Study – 2 classes, Sundays or Wednesdays, starting May 22nd and 25th. This churchwide study will help us share our faith in a way that is effective, biblical, and transformational. Sign up online at wpumc.com/register. Spring Children’s Musical - Wednesday, May 4th. A spaghetti dinner will be served at 5:45pm in the CLC (serving to 6:30). Afterwards the children’s choirs will present GPS, God’s Plan of Salvation, a story that guides us down the “Holy Highway” to learn that with Jesus Christ in our lives, the road of obedience leads to the throne of God! Donations will be accepted to help offset the costs of the dinner and musical, with any proceeds going to children’s music ministry. Oldies Drive-In – Friday, May 6th, 5:30-8:30pm in the parking lot. Music from the 50s and 60s with hamburgers, hot dogs, and delicious homemade milkshakes. Come join the community in this fun event. Church On The Street – Sunday, May 15th, is 14 days away! Projects where help is most needed are: helping neighbors in various parts of Cary with yard work, campus clean up at the Tammy Lynn Center, organization at With Love From Jesus, afternoon cookie baking and delivery, and Stop Hunger Now meal packaging (can sit). Help is also needed on Saturday, May 14th, at 10:00am to set up tables in the CLC. wpumc.com/COTS. Unified Service — Sunday, May 15th, at 10:30am for Church on the Street.
