    MATERIALS

    822-099 Lion Brand Alpine Wool: Vanilla1 Ball

    Lion Brand Crochet Hook - Size K-10.5

    Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6) Additional Materials

    1 button, 1 in. (2.5 cm) in diameter for each Cuff

    Optional Materials:#123 Bay Leaf 1 ball#174 Olive 1 ball#135 Cinnamon 1 ball#106 Blueberry 1 ball

    GAUGE:

    10 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern stitch BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When youmatch the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the

    materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to

    make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and

    rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

    NOTES:

    One ball of yarn is sufficient to make more than one Cuff.

    CUFFCh 23.Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * across, end with a dc in lastch 22 sts.Row 2: Ch 1, turn, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc; rep from * across.Row 3: Ch 1, turn, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc; rep from * across to last 5 sts, dc in next st, ch 1 (for buttonhole),sk next st, dc in next st, sc in next st, dc in last st.Row 4: Rep Row 2, working into ch-space of Row 3 as if it were a st.

    Row 5: Rep Row 2. At the end of Row 5, do not fasten off; work sc evenly spaced around outside edge of Cuff,working 3 sc at each corner. Fasten off.

    FINISHINGSew button to Cuff on opposite end from buttonhole. Weave in ends.
