Thank you to all those who took the time to attend. Special thanks to the Croppa Creek Store who assisted by providing floats for our stalls. Well done to the students whose hard work and learning this term we were acknowledging and celebrating on Thursday. This has been an amazing term and all the students indicated they would love to do Market Day again in the future. Woolly Bully Woolly Bully is complete! And he looks amazing! Well done to the students from Pallamallawa Public School and Bullarah Public School who contributed to this amazing artwork. Thank you to Meg Tighe who initiated this project and organised the horns, Mrs Fordham and Miss Dowsett who have done an amazing job organising the art work, and Bec McLean who attached the horns and helped decorate the face so that Woolly Bully is now all sheep. We are so proud of the amazing work done on this project and have really enjoyed taking part in this year's Archibull Prize. Thanks to Lynne Strong whose amazing work means that this initiative is possible for schools, particularly for your encouragement and support for small schools to take part. North West Regional Athletics Dominic was at the North West Regional Athletics last Friday and we want to say how proud we are of him for taking part and achieving a place to compete at this level. Thank You This has been a very busy term with an incredible amount happening. Thank you to our students who have so readily embraced Project Based Learning and worked extremely hard all term. Thank you to Miss Dowsett and Mrs Fordham who work so hard to support our students in their learning. Their enthusiasm is a great example for our students. Thank you to Mrs Newcomen for her work in the administration of the school. This is a time of massive change in the Department of Education as it tries to reposition itself for the future learning needs of all students across the state. The rapidness of the changes is unprecedented and Mrs Newcomen’s steady hand is greatly appreciated. Safe and Happy Holiday Hope everyone has a great holiday and we will see you all safe and returned for the first day back on Monday 15 October. Transition students also have the opportunity to visit with the school for swimming lessons in Goondiwindi late in the term.
