represented by 2 or 3
teachers. A large team
that already had some
experience in participa-
ting in such internatio-
nal projects gathered in
one place. The vision of
I.M.A.G.I.N.E project
is - involve the teachers
and students into the
development of an inte-
ractive game, improve
the ability to navigate in
a new unknown envi-
ronment and to deepen
the knowledge of the
latest IT as well as work
and collaborate in an
international team.
A welcoming speech
was presented by the
headmaster Micholovic
Marin, who was glad
that the meeting of all
the participants of such
an important project
was held at his school
and wished them all the
best in their work.
Each team had to pre-
sent their country, sch-

the project. Frederic

ve of the coordinator
of I.M.A.G.I.N.E pro-
ject, introduced the par-
ticipants with its con-

Spare time in Rovinj What an amazing
Christmas town Ro-
vinj!. The participants
of I.M.A.G.I.N.E pro-
ject had the possibility
to experience the spirit
of Christmas
wandering in the
narrow streets of an
old town Rovinj after a
hectic work day. A
shimmering and enor-
mous christmas tree,
decorated houses, glit-
tering shop windows –
all signs reflected the
upcoming Christmas
and New Year.
All in all, the partici-
pants of the project
spent their spare time
walking along the pier
enjoying the view of
habouring yachts, ships
and boats as well as
admiring the archaeo-
logical sites and visi-
ting the unique and dis-
tinctive places. And
one of those places is
the Eco-museum Bata-
na founded by Giovan-
ni Trani. The founder
was pleased to tell
about the history of the
museum in detail and
showed us different
sizes of boats called
batana made by his
hands. The guests had
the opportunity to taste
mouth-watering Fritule
baked by Giovanni
Trani‘s wife.
Free from work eve-
nings were also plan-
ned carefully. The par-
ticipants of the project
really liked being
taught the moves of
salsa and scrolling
towards the end of the
evening everyone was
able to dance it in a
proper way.
Songs and music eve-
nings were memorable
as well. Almost all par-
ticipants were given a
stage to play the piano
or perform well-known
songs in different lan-
guages.
The concert shown at
basic school Osnova
skola Jurja Dobrile by
its pupils was also un-
forgettable. The sound
of guitars, the singing,
the atmosphere – eve-
rything was marvel-
lous. In the end, all the
participants of
I.M.A.G.I.N.E project
were cheering the pu-
pils by thunderous ap-
plause.

In a large deep pan,
heat the oil and then
quickly drop teaspoon-
fuls of the batter to the
pan – until you have
around 8 cooking. Fry
the mini Fritule on all
sides, until they are gol-
den brown.
Carefully take the
doughnuts out, drain in a
bowl lined with kitchen
paper. Once they’re all
cooked, sprinkle with
powdered sugar and ser-
ve them warm.
Recipe of Croatian pastries
Preparation:
Mix flour together
with the baking powder
in a deep bowl. Then,
take the eggs and add in
some salt, yougurt and
sugar and stir together
well with a wooden
spoon. Add the mixture
into the bowl of flour
and stir again by gradu-
ally pouring the milk. A
thick batter should start
to form, but you can use
a whisk to mix the
dough to make sure eve-
rything is well combined
and that there are no
lumps. You should have
a batter with a dropping
consistency, if it is a lit-
tle thick, add some more
milk.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 spoons of sugar
1 yogurt
13 spoons of flour
1 table spoon of
baking powder
1 spoon of oil
1 spoon of milk
A pinch of salt
Powdered sugar for
coating

welcomed all the partici-
pants of I.M.A.G.I.N.E
project, told the history
of the town as well as
presented the historical
value of the buildings
and paintings.
The last evening spent
in tavern was splendid.
The participants of the
project were able to tas-
te the mouth-watering
traditional dishes. More-
over, they were entertai-
ned by the famous folk
ensemble, which sang
the most popular Croa-
tian folk songs. All in
all, everyone was sin-
ging and dancing and
without a doubt having
one of the most magnifi-
cent evenings during the
whole stay in mysterious
Rovinj.
Furthermore, during
work session breaks the
participants of the pro-
ject not only had the po-
ssibility to attend and
observe the lessons, but
also to participate acti-
vely by themselves. For
example, make noodles,
mold from clay, sing,
and make some
experiments.
