Mobile Apps

For mobile apps:

Every employee has to select what location he is working on the mobile apps. When he change location, he must make an update. The mobile apps is easy to use. The Employee 1 just have to select which location he is in the factory. When updated, all employee with the mobile apps will be informed about his location.

When employee 2 needs to know his location of employee 1, he does not need to ask employee 1 where he is, nor does he need to ask other people where employee 1 is because it is already updated on the system.

Fingerprint scanner

Fingerprint scanner:

When log in or out using finger scanner, the log file will be sent to the mobile apps. Then the mobile apps will check if the list of person has scanned in the finger scanner.

Everybody with mobile apps would know if employee 1 is absent or has already gone home or have taken leave.

Eliminating cost, increase effectiveness & efficiency.

Compressor engines uses energy to pump air inside the tank to maintain target pressure level as to be supplied to all pneumatic equipments used in the factory.

Small air leaks, running 24/7 from tubes, air connectors and valves means in totality, a big air pressure loss in the tank, causing the compressor use more energy than it is required.

Repair air leaking tubes, air connectors and hoses

Make a monthly check up of all lines if there are air leaks

Maintain spare parts list for quick parts availability

Eliminate cost results to increase in effectiveness & efficiency.

The study is being done to know the different type of services provided by Cal- comp and what is the customer satisfaction level regarding different type of services of Cal comp and to know the customer response about what kind of improvement they want from company, so Cal-comp can take action to fulfill their needs. This study will also covers the strategies required by Cal-comp where company is lacking.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths:

I. Company has monopoly in market in the business of ODM & EMSII. Company has adequate infrastructure and machinery.III. It has its own (MIS Department) for Research and Development IV. It has its own (CAD machine) for creating its own JIG supportV. It has its own Mechanical Department that can make its own fixture

and robots VI. Company has skilled labor to provide superior quality services.VII.Working environment of Cal comp is favorable for customers.VIII. + Company has been in the industry since 1989 (36 years) , which

means it has survived natural calamity, global recession, political and economical crisis. It also has established its roots, mainly Vendor relationship

IX. + Dormitory is very close to the factory, free food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, which makes the staff feel less stress after a long hard days work.

Weakness:

I. Mobility of skilled labor under different project. II. +Company needs more advertising to its strengthsIII. Language barriers for foreigner staff with local employee at

working hours.

Opportunities:

i. To increase the production demand by strong customer satisfaction.

ii. Increase number of share and price with production and demand (stakeholder confidence )

iii. Cost competitiveness iv. Investing in process ,tools and training to achieve

grater productivityv. Innovation in products service and operations.  vi.+ The company has the big advantage to get the rich

 knowledge and experience from different customers requirements (WD, Seagate, Hitachi, ODM products such as Pioneer, Technicolor, XYZ…)

Score :- 65.56% (lowest) Suggestion:- An MIS Contact window in each factory to support

customers requirements effectively and factory’s issues to solve immediately that will be helpful for all the running projects of factory improvements, implementations.

Survey Question :- Only the contact window have more professionalism but need improve to team.

comment, concern team must reply with an acknowledgement to customers immediately and further provide the required information or data.
