Definition: Provides a lessor degree of liabilty- felony in the 3rd degree

MCNaughten Rule- CL- developed in response to mcnaughten attempting to kill member of parliament

6. unequivocality (res ipsa): person conduct standing alone unambigulously manifests criminal intent- objective standard
