Bible infallibility

God warns us it is a specified sin to add to, take away from, or change God’s Word in any way.

Re 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Page 3: Creation to redemption

More admonitions

De 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Pr 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Pr 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

IN THE

Page 5: Creation to redemption

BEGINNING…

Page 6: Creation to redemption

God created the heaven and the earth.

Page 7: Creation to redemption

FIRST THE HEAVENThe first act of Creation was of space.

Col 1:16 (13-20) For by him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

THEN THE EARTH

Page 8: Creation to redemption

Angels were present at the Creation of Earth

Job 1:6 ¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

The Bible teaches angels were Created, Verse One, Chapter One, Genesis.

Page 9: Creation to redemption

Verse 2. And the earth was without form

Page 10: Creation to redemption

And void…

Page 11: Creation to redemption

Without form and void

The term “without form and void” means the earth at this point was a “changing” mass of material, created by God. It was not yet complete, that is it had not yet been solidified into a particular shape, thus it was without form. It was also void because at this point nothing existed “on” the earth.

In other words it was an ever changing mass of material of which, the solid earth would shortly be formed.

Page 12: Creation to redemption

And darkness was upon the face of the deep...

Page 13: Creation to redemption

Darkness also is created

Light had not yet been brought into existence to shine upon the earth.

But, when God invokes His power, the earth would take a solid shape of a sphere and a temporary light source would be used. What was the light? We don’t know. It could have been God Himself, or He may have created a temporary body to give light until the other acts of creation would take place.

Page 14: Creation to redemption

Don’t stumble over this verse

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Page 15: Creation to redemption

Why did God create evil?

If evil did not exist in the creation then man could not make a choice to obey God.

Man was created with free will (the ability to choose).

God does not want little robots who instantly obey every command that He gives. Instead He wants us to come to Him in Faith that He is and is a rewarder of those who believe:

Page 16: Creation to redemption

It’s our choice!

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Verse 3. And God said let there be light and there was light.

Page 21: Creation to redemption

Science has discovered“Sonoluminescence”

Science gradually gets a little closer to understanding what God has always known.

A recent discovery is “Sonoluminescence,” or the ability to create light by means of sound. By using “minor” frequencies of sound under great power, scientists have been able to create a very small pinpoint of light.

Page 23: Creation to redemption

THE SPEED OF LIGHT

“The speed of light is slowing down and gives a different time of creation of the earth

“The speed of light constant in space is less than the speed of light in a vacuum due to dust and gas in space. The speed of light is slowing down in space, and this gives a far different time of creation. Light travels faster in space than in air, gas, water, glass, diamonds or rubies. The undeniable fact about the speed of light is that it is not constant…

Page 24: Creation to redemption

THE SPEED OF LIGHT

“…Scientists have measured the speed of light in space at 186,282 miles per second (a partial vacuum, we will discover) and in the earth's atmosphere a little less, in water at 140,000 miles per second, the speed of light in glass at about 125,000 miles per second, in diamonds at 77,600 miles per second, and in rubies at only 190 feet per second. They know that the speed of light is slower in air than it is in a partial vacuum; that it is slower in water than in air, and slower in glass than in water. ..

Page 25: Creation to redemption

THE SPEED OF LIGHT

“All their other conclusions about RED SHIFT, BIG BANG and THE SPEED OF LIGHT are based on space being a perfect vacuum and light having a constant speed of 186,282 miles per second in space, or 299,792,458 meters per second.”

Page 26: Creation to redemption

THE SPEED OF LIGHT

Page 27: Creation to redemption

QUESTION: Why should the speed of light decrease?

Ge 3:17 ¶ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Page 28: Creation to redemption

GOD CURSED THE CREATION BECAUSE OF SIN (disobedience to God).

Ro 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (emphasis added)

Page 29: Creation to redemption

Is there a “Cure” for sin?

The Bible teaches there is no “cure” for sin. Every soul, on Judgment Day must stand in front of God and give an account for his life here on earth.

Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die…

Page 30: Creation to redemption

Is there any hope?

Yes. Because God is a Holy God He demands perfection of all who would come to Him.

Mt 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

But no man is perfect and cannot become perfect, therefore God made a Way…

Page 31: Creation to redemption

The God-Man Jesus

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (emphasis added)

Jesus (God) took human form and lived a life without sin (perfection). He then allowed men to nail Him to a Cross and suffered death for the sin of any who will accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Page 32: Creation to redemption

Before God’s White Throne

On Judgment Day “every knee will bow” before God and give an account of our life. God the Father will then check the books and determine our fate, heaven or hell.

If we have confessed our sin and asked for forgiveness of it. If we have accepted Jesus as our Savior and made Him Lord of our life we will be held blameless for our sin, no matter what it is, or how severe it is.

Page 33: Creation to redemption

Verse 4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light

from the darkness.

Page 34: Creation to redemption

Verse 5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Page 35: Creation to redemption

Rotation of the Earth began

We know the early earth rotation on its axis was approximately 24 hours (a solar day) because in the description of each day of creation God used the same terminology:

“…and the evening and the morning were the (number) day.”

Page 36: Creation to redemption

Verse 6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Page 37: Creation to redemption

And the waters went up into the windows of heaven…

Page 38: Creation to redemption

And the waters went down… into the fountains of the great deep…

Page 39: Creation to redemption

The “Vapor Canopy” Theory

Based upon atmospheric pressure and the oxygen content of the atmosphere of early earth, it is theorized the waters in the windows of heaven created a protective canopy over the earth that allowed for very large early creatures and extended lifetimes of humans.

Biblical History teaches the lifetime of the patriarchs declined dramatically just after the flood and the destruction of the vapor canopy.

Page 40: Creation to redemption
Page 41: Creation to redemption

Verse 7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Page 42: Creation to redemption

Verse 8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Page 43: Creation to redemption

A Solar Day

The repetitive use of the phrase: “And the evening and the morning were the (number) day,” indicates what we call a solar day.

It is theorized the solar day of 6,000 years ago was approximately 20 minutes shorter than our present 24 hour day because of the measured decline in the speed of light, now at the rate of approximately one second every 2 ½ years.

The “Leap Second”

Page 44: Creation to redemption

Verse 9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Page 45: Creation to redemption

RADIO-HALOS

There are at least two isotopes in the decay chain from uranium to lead, that have a half-life of less than one second: Polonium 214 and Polonium 210 are both found in solid granite. In other words, in less than one second these two isotopes lose half their “life” and in another second are reduced to half again.

Therefore, because these two isotopes are found trapped in solid granite, we must conclude the granite went from a liquid (not a molten) state to a solid state almost instantaneously.

Page 46: Creation to redemption

An Illustration of Polonium

If you wanted to examine a cross-section of a bubble produced by dropping Alka-Seltzer in a glass of water you would have to instantaneously freeze the bubbles while they still existed and then take the frozen water and cut through it in order to examine the bubble.

This is a rough analogy of what took place when Polonium isotopes (half-life of less than one second) were frozen in solid granite.

Page 47: Creation to redemption

of a Po 218 radio halo in granite. If the

rock is heated the halos are destroyed.

How did they get there?

Page 48: Creation to redemption

Verse 10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God

saw that it was good.

Page 49: Creation to redemption

LENGTH OF A DAY OF CREATION

The Bible teaches six, solar days of Creation. Evolution teaches “billions of years.” Thus some theologians, in an effort to accommodate evolution, have adopted the “Gap Theory” and the “Day Age Theory.”

God however, disagrees. “And the evening and the morning were the (number) day,” is obviously the earth turning on its axis giving alternate periods of night and day. Is the Bible correct or is “science” (1Ti 6:20) correct?

Page 50: Creation to redemption

Verse 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Verse 11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Page 51: Creation to redemption

Verse 12. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Page 52: Creation to redemption

Trees require pollinationto reproduce

It would be highly unlikely for wind to be present in the “vapor canopy” and insect life had not yet been created. So the question is: How could a fruit tree bring forth seed without pollination?

The obvious answer is, the postulated long ages of evolution did not exist because the fancied days of creation being “millions of years” in length would have frozen any life during the “night” period.

Page 53: Creation to redemption

Verse 13. And the evening and the morning were

the third day.

Page 54: Creation to redemption

Verse 14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Near Cosmic Events

Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Page 57: Creation to redemption

The “Heavens” past and future

Mark Biltz, a pastor in Washington state has discovered some interesting facts about “signs” in the heavens. The following information was taken from him and from his source, NASA, the Space Agency that regularly plots orbits, eclipses and other phenomena in the course of their work.

I have added some of the biblical references.

Page 58: Creation to redemption

What is a “Tetrad?”

• A “Tetrad” is the name given to the phenomena of four blood red moons in a row.

• It is rare, but does occur, and is completely predictable by the modern astronomy.

• It is even more rare for a Tetrad to occur precisely on Jewish Feast Days.

Page 59: Creation to redemption

A Dark Sun Predicted

Mt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Page 60: Creation to redemption

BLOOD RED MOON

This total lunar eclipse was observed in the area of the Pacific Ocean on 7/16/2000. It was the longest total eclipse (1 hour 47 minutes) for the next thousand years! During the totality, the moon plunged directly through the center of Earth's dark shadow. The result was a very dark blood red moon.

Page 61: Creation to redemption

SIGNS IN THE COSMOS

Re 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Page 62: Creation to redemption

Are these God’s Signs for Israel?

Passover is the first annual Jewish feast. Sukkoth is the seventh and final annual feast.

Four 'blood-red' total lunar eclipses will fall on Passover and Sukkoth in 2014 and 2015.

The same back-to-back “Tetrads” occurred at the time of 1492, 1948 and 1967, all important dates in Jewish history.

ARE THERE “SIGNS” IN OUR NEAR FUTURE?

Time will tell. In any event we should be ever alert and watching for the signs that are given in the Bible, for those events which will herald the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the church.

Will the next few years be pivotal in the history of man? We will be watching with great interest.

Verse 25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Page 81: Creation to redemption
Page 82: Creation to redemption

God emphasizes “After his kind”

Evolution teaches one creature “evolves” into a completely different “kind.” That cannot be accomplished in a laboratory (without great expense and grotesque mutations) let alone occur strictly by chance in a world that is under the curse of death.

The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics tells us that ALL systems decay, become less organized. The theory of evolution tries to convince us all systems (by chance) are becoming more complex.

Page 83: Creation to redemption

The Dominion Mandate

Verse 26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Page 84: Creation to redemption

Verse 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and

female created he them.

Page 85: Creation to redemption

• Ge 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Page 86: Creation to redemption

Ye shall have dominion…

“The Dominion Mandate”

Verse 29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Page 87: Creation to redemption

Those who worship the Creation

Ro 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Jer 13:25 This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood. (Eph 2:4-10)

The Creation was complete

And God rested.

Page 93: Creation to redemption

TO SUM UP

We believe we have biblically and scientifically proven the earth was created by the All-Powerful God of the Bible. It therefore cautions any thinking person to carefully examine his own life and to take the necessary steps to become reconciled to his Creator.

At this time we suggest we all prayerfully consider what will happen to us on Judgment Day when we face God and give an account for either our acceptance or rejection of the substitutionary death of Jesus on the Cross.

Page 94: Creation to redemption

So we have a choice…

God laid down the law, the Ten Commandments (Ex 20, Deut 5) for man to live by. If He were to judge us by that Law, how would He find us, guilty or not?

Ask yourself, Have I ever told a lie” Have I ever looked upon a person of the opposite sex with lust in my heart? Have I ever dishonored my parents? If you answer “yes” to any of these questions and more, How would God find?

Page 95: Creation to redemption

If we are judged by the Law

If we were judged by the Ten Commandments and failed even one test (and all men will fail), God being a Righteous Judge would require Himself to find us guilty.

Our fate therefore depends upon how we measure up, not to any other person but how we measure up to God Himself.

Obviously, we would all fail the test. Where would we go? Answer: We can’t go to heaven, so the only choice for God would be to find us guilty and send us to Hell.

Page 96: Creation to redemption

The Good News!

We don’t have to be judged by the Law.

If we have confessed our sin and accepted Jesus we are no longer under the Law but under Grace.

In other words, when God looks upon us and sees Jesus residing in our hearts as Lord of our lives, He does not see our sin, but the perfection of Jesus, and pronounces us:

NOT GUILTY!

Page 97: Creation to redemption

What is Your Choice?

Joshua was faced with a choice in his day.

Jos 24:15 ¶ And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (emphasis added)

Page 98: Creation to redemption

If you are now ready…If you have examined the evidence and realized

we all fall short when compared to Almighty God. If you are ready to admit to God you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, then pray something like this:

“Dear Jesus I know and admit I am a sinner. I need your forgiveness and I ask for it now. Please forgive my sin and come into my heart to live inside me and be the LORD of my life. Thank you for what You did on the Cross for me. Amen.”
