The Word LogoThis kind of logo is simple. It is just made of the name of your company written with a styled writing. Coca Cola or Disney are a good example.
The Letter LogoThis iconographic logo only use one or two letters of the name of your company. The letters has to be styled. The most well-known are Chanel or Rolls Royce.
The Symbol/Icon LogoThis logo does not show the name of the company. It just a symbol It has to be really strong to work. Think about Apple or Nike.
The Combination LogoIt is a mix of a word logo and a symbol/icon one. You must keep in mind that both can work separately. We all know the icon and the typography of Mac Donald's or Puma, don’t we?
The Emblem LogoThe emblem logo works like the combination one. The only difference is that the typography and the icon have to be encased in a larger form. If I say Starbucks of Master Card, you will automatically know what I am talking about.

Tips : Try to describe your company with 10 keywords. Your logo has to contain at least 4 or 5 of them.
