Dear Sir,

I am writing to respond to your article about the role of fathers in todays families

and the impact they have upon future generations. I have always felt that

education and knowledge that shape our personality and behavior comes indierent yet equal amounts from both our parents. In fact, they contribute to the

stabiliation of our mentality thus we can observe the usual tendency of children

that either choose to be in!uenced by their father or mother.

"irst of all, I believe that modern society hasnt changed much since early ages

regarding to the hours men spend at their workplace# working in shifts or

overtime can prove to be challenging and may aect the relationship between

the father and the child# children tend to feel ignored or neglected given to the

lack of parental interaction. $herefore, I believe that any father has to make time

for their ospring% while a girl seeks care and protection, a boy searches for skills

and advice# nevertheless, a father should aspire to become both a parent and afriend, both a mentor and teacher ensuring a stable education for his children.

Second of all, I have always felt a unique connection between me and my father#

he has proven to be a source of knowledge and advice, a trustworthy and caring

parent who constantly teaches me in any situation with a clear &udgement. 'ven

though our schedules overlap, he always (nds an opportunity to reassure me that

my happiness is merged with his. $hus, parental love plays a signi(cant role in

our lives% a fathers love can amplify your state of mind, or even boost your

disposition given to the emotional growth that has likely occurred even during a

)*minute conversation.

+verall, I think that an ideal father is the one that aims to become a model for hischildren through his own actions# every eperience is a new lesson worth

teaching to the future generations in order to maintain a well*balanced society.

-evertheless, real fathers must understand that over spoiling is unlike caring%

genuine love is an unconditional truth which fathers can use to raise their

children.
