The tiny micro-droplets, smaller than droplets, float in the air long after someone sneezes, coughs, exhales, or even talks.

UPS, USPS, the CDC, and the WHO agree that mail and packages are very low risk.There have been no known cases from imported goods.

Containers and hard surfaces such as countertops, plastics and switch plates provide a3-day haven for the virus.

Facility Entry Procedures

Provide temperature and/or symptom screenings for allworkers at the beginning of their shift.

Provide temperature and/or symptom screenings for anyvendors, contractors, or other workers entering the facility.o Screeners must be trained to avoid close contact. Everyone must wear a

face covering for the screening.o Anyone with a temperature of 100.4F or higher will be excused to see a

doctor or to go home.o Employees who handle commonly touched items or assist with the

temperature screening process shall be provided latex gloves.

Any employee who is screened at work or self-screened athome and has a temperature of 100.4F or more must stayhome or will be sent home/to doctor.

Face coverings must be worn whenever an employee is in avehicle for work-related travel and with others in the samevehicle.

Physical Distancing Procedures

The use of physical markings (e.g., floor markings, colored tape, or signs to indicate to where workers should stand) shall be instituted to indicate where employees may stand and maintain 6-feet of distance from the closest person

Breakroom tables and chairs shall be marked to demonstrate the safe seating distance and arrangement.

Outdoor break areas will be fitted with shade covers and seats 6-feet apart.

Employees will be discouraged from congregating on the dock, in the office, or break areas and high traffic areas.

Stagger employee breaks, in compliance with wage and hour regulations, to maintain physical distancing protocols.

Disinfecting Control Plan

Do not share pens, electronic devices, desks, or workstations.If a desk or workstation is shared, make sure it is routinelydisinfected throughout the day.

Disinfect pens daily.o Have a cup of ‘clean’ and a cup of ‘dirty’ pens. Clean ones placed in dirty

cup after use and dirty ones get sanitized as needed or daily.

Identify the high frequency areas and create a schedule andassign departments to be responsible for disinfecting locations.

A sample list includes, but is not limited to:o Water dispensers and handles, door handles, and conference room chairs

and tables.o The control handles/levers on all stationary equipment and mobile

equipment (i.e., forklifts).o Hand washing or the use of hand sanitizer shall be used between the

sharing of equipment, such as time clocks and forklifts.

1. Start and End of Shift: Each worker to wipe down all of their “touch” work surfaces with a fresh solution of 10% chlorine bleach (mix daily) or EPA-approved disinfectant (List “N” for Use Against SARS-CoV-2). Wear splash protection.

2. At the End of Each Work Day: Wipe down workstations, computer monitors, keyboards, desk phones, breakrooms, lunch areas, handrails, door handles, light switches, and doors. Mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, toilets, and breakrooms. Clean the surfaces in the cabs of all vehicles.

3. Prop all non-fire doors open, to facilitate cleaning. Place hand sanitizer stations near doors that require touching.

PROPER HAND WASHING

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. This is especiallyimportant after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and beforeeating or preparing food.

Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizerwith at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol when you cannot get to a sink or handwashingstation, covering all surfaces of your hands and rubbing them together until they feel dry.

Soap and water are the best option, especially if hands are visibly dirty. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

• Limiting face-to-face contact with others is the best way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. • To practice physical distancing stay at least 6-feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people.• Keeping this space between you and others is one of the best tools we have to avoid being

exposed to this virus and slowing its spread locally and across the country and world. • In our industry, it is vitally important that we take actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

FACE COVERS

Face coverings do not protect the wearer and are not personal protective equipment (PPE).Face coverings can help protect people near the wearer, but do not replace the need forphysical distancing and frequent handwashing.

Wash your hands before putting on your face covering. Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin. Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face. Make sure you can breathe easily. Wash or sanitize hands before and after using or adjusting face coverings.

Wear a face covering to help protect others in case you are infected but don’t havesymptoms.

Keep the covering on your face the entire time you are in public. Don’t put the covering around your neck or up on your forehead. Don’t touch the face covering, and, if you do, clean your hands.

Take Off Your Cloth Face Covering Carefully-When You Are Home
