COURSE OUTLINE
The BA (Hons) Business Management (Top Up) course prepares business students
with the relevant skills needed to adapt to a dynamic and competitive business
environment. The one-year course is ideal for those either seeking to start their own
business, to climb the managerial ladder or to advance into Postgraduate level of study.
On this programme you will develop a good understanding of the nature of business
management. The course will focus in developing critical thinking and will enable
students to analyse and evaluate solutions to complex, real-life business scenarios.
QUALIFICATION & RECOGNITION
This course is delivered by DGHE at its city of London campus in Aldgate. Students must complete a minimum of 120 credits in order to achieve the BA (Hons) qualification in Business Management. The degree is awarded by Buckinghamshire New University.

TEACHING & LEARNING
Our Academic team have extensive industry and academic experience that enhances the delivery of the course allowing for practical application in today’s changing business climate. Lecturers will help students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to be positioned competitively when heading into employment.
The assessment strategy is designed to ensure that learning outcomes are achieved and that there is a development of knowledge and skills. Inde-pendent learning is embedded within the programme and students develop a depth of understanding via synthesis, critical analysis and evaluation. Assessments are by coursework and examination with the majority of mod-ules being assessed by coursework only. A mixture of formative and sum-mative assessment is used. Formative assessment, and the timely follow-up by tutors with good practice feedback is used to monitor student progress and also help the student to plan, practice and prepare for the summative assignments.
